Nobody is keeping count, but you’re pretty consistent at this.

Dry but windy as fook here. Little job with 5 or so different little tasks today. Hopefully my new (to me) grinder gets delivered today.

Imagine the snarl up at the FAC licensing departments of the various constabularies . I have just renewed mine and she said its a 2-3 month wait . ( cheque made payable to The PCC for Sussex ) not sure what it stands for but I made mine payable to Sussex Police so that was another hold up . Or are you suggesting that Cherie and Tracey could pop down to the local FAD and buy one like you could a Mars bar ?

Lot of Dodge Rams here for some reason. I was looking very hard and longingly at them. Landscaping mate (and my brother in law) had them, very nice drive.

Alex its not going to happen. "Darren would get Sharron" to buy a gun,Darren would nick it/shoot their kid by accident, hire it to the local yardies before it would end up biffed into the Canal. Every street punk would get some infirm person to buy them a shooter and the streets would become far worse, thats already been covered on here. If the guy who bravely defended the people on the train had a gun then maybe it would have ended sooner,or maybe he would have panicked and mag dumped the lot down a packed carriage killing an maiming even more people.Because the more bullets you have, the more you tend to use. Carrying a pistol is a pain,if its easy enough to carry then its small enough to not be very effective/easy to use.If its a full size pistol then you are constantly aware of it and trying all the time to not expose it,I cant imagine having to ride the tube for example with a pistol in my wasteband, holding onto the overhead rail hoping some nutter wasnt going to make a grab for it.

I got that wrong, it's 55 years since I last had to do it. It does add but it does so by NANDing two numbers and the discarding the most significant bit (0)101==Decimal 5 (0)001== Decimal 1 (1)110 NANDed Discard most significant bit 110==Decimal 6 So the most basic thing a computer does is a comparison of binary digits and from this simple operation every thing which we do on a computer is based. Next it's qubits and that totally confuses me.

Students cheating is the least of our worries when it comes to children and AI. Teenage boys using ‘personalised’ AI for therapy and romance, survey finds | Artificial intelligence (AI) | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Male Allies UK worries rise in chatbot ‘girlfriends’ will leave boys unable to socialise and respect boundaries "The research, based on a survey of boys in secondary education across 37 schools in England, Scotland and Wales, also found that more than half (53%) of teenage boys said they found the online world more rewarding than the real world."

Interesting. I want to ask for a more in-depth explanation of the ANDing masquerading as adding thing. Guessing it's not something that fits neatly in a nutshell though. I was fascinated by Logic Gates when I was taught them all to briefly. Pattern recognition. A friend of mine was developing software to be used in a chicken nugget factory, or some such, around the turn of the century. It's purpose was to recognise and reject wrong or damaged ones by looking at their shape. AI wasn't even on the horizon then, it was just pattern recognition. He now works at GCHQ, something to do with policy, (that's all he's allowed to say).

Well that doesnt sound good at all! Ive know a couple a scallys from the past and the consensus was if someone pulls a knife on you to rob you give them everything, if they pull a knife and dont ask for anything then you better run. If they pull a gun on you then you better give them their drugs stash back. Or, you could learn from the master.

Yeah, that was what I concluded. Though I had them in a dim unheated garage I think, maybe if they were in a bright, warm conservatory or something they'd do better. No need to buy more seeds, just use some from last year's chillies. They're always viable. Dead easy, especially if your drying them out anyway.
