Hi All Looking for a company to do Picus Sonic Tomograph on couple of mature Beech trees in West Hythe in Kent. Both trees have Ganoderma applanutum.

What do you use or recommend? Most arb ladders I've seen or used , have been past their best and I'd like to get my own for the odd hedge job I might get to do on my own - so Im after a decent one that can be used as an A frame. Transport will be by car roof rack, so I will be limited in length.

Will's wedding party was a right good affair. In a sheep field, marquee up for food which was excellent home made stuff, 6 bell tents, bales, table and chairs daisy chain lights and decent music! What about that 1.1mm 3/8p Stihl full chisel? Easier to sharpen than 1/4p, existing sideplate angle and depth gauges.

Matty is on the money if you want to run the 14". Drill the bar as otherwise you will have to get chains made up. The stihl 10" needs 57 not 56 dl, the 12" 65 not 64 so I guess you need 73 which isnt available off the shelf, 57 and 65 are.Or do as Mark said and put a 10" on with a 57dl chain. Also as Matty mentioned make sure you have the 1/4" sprocket on your saw.
