  3. We had a box ,all they do is leaver the box to break the padlock , Really you want a box ressed into the door itself , but then they come along with a plasma cutter and cut the side of the container . The loss adjuster came out once and said to me he had a client that buried a shipping container, they were in and out within 5 mins . All u can do is reasonable precautions as if they want it they take it and thes nothing you can do. Also the law doesn't work in your favour they just see it as a business theft ...oh well.

  7. Bob . No need to apologies matey . I just walked round the field with the dog , over strides coat with hood up and sweating like a nuns chuff ! ( Its 19c now ! )
  8. Sorry Stubby. Trying not to be over-dramatic. I have got a sweatshirt on mind you. No ragging around in a t-shirt today I think.
  9. I'm no too far from you , more like Sussex / Hampshire border but despite it being wet and windy and dark its 18c .
  10. Good morning Arbtalkers 😊 Yep, dark and wet out....
  11. Good Morning Bit blowy here too...not the same. It's dark and wet. Sadly feels wintery. Keep yer powder dry till the weekend.
  12. Morning all . Winding and raining and milding . Autumn .
  13. I have lived two miles from one for about a decade, want me to spam this thread with all the links to sexual assaults, rapes & murders ? But it would do no good, since your link to the Gardian article and opinion trumps first hand actual experience Here is one link to the time some refugees in the local center blew up part of the housing whilst making home made explosive. As you do. To pågrepet etter eksplosjon på asylmottak i Arna WWW.BT.NO Svein Harkestad så folk løpe ut fra asylmottaket etter eksplosjonen.

  15. Very windy here today! Most likely to stay in front of apartments under the trees for the shade! If it that bad and like being sand blasted, will jump in the car and drive into the distance where it will blow in a different direction! Be good all of you! Peat, Saddo.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Had a few night visitors show up at night on the trail cams, all togged up like feckin' commandos, I set a dozen alarm mines around the place, [non lethal but feckin' loud enough to wake the dead] one of them set one off a few nights later, the rest panicked and ran off in all directions,,, setting off 3 more. never saw them again. found a tool bag nearby the next day, 2 battery grinders, bolt croppers, prybars and enough batteries to last for days. I don't rate containers as they are easy to just cut through the side or roof.
  18. Head shots have always been a contentious subject, I prefer to place the shot as instructed by dsc, If I cant get that safely, I walk away, there's always another day,, for myself and the quarry. I'm not an advocate of long range shots at deer either, it's called "stalking" for a reason. paper or hardox is another matter. nothing suffers if you miss, while dialing in.
  19. Ignore the great white hunter types Oldfeller a good chest shot is exactly what you are after, well according to most knowledgeable people. Leave the ear shots to others.
  20. Rifles you regret selling !! I guess most on here will have sold something then regretted it later. For me it was a Sako TRG 41 many years ago when 338 Lapua Magnum was a relatively new round. Bought it through a pal in Finland as a personal import. Super cheap at the time as the pound was strong against the Finnish mark, especially compared to GMKs price for one. Ammo was £56 for 20 back then. Sadly no pics but came across the paperwork whilst clearing out some crap recently. I often wonder if it’s out there still annoying the people on adjacent lanes as the muzzle blast was pretty fierce to say the least.
  21. Thanks for that, I have a few of those, but my old lorry has unfortunately long gone. that's a Austin k2 I believe, I had a Bedford J type 4x4 , should have kept it really, regret it now. there's some real beauties there.
  22. Fill ya boots Oldfeller.
  23. Probably because they're trade only, give them a call. Might be an option for buying your tyres too
  24. I know nothing of shooting or deer, but hopefully that doesn't disqualify me from holding an opinion on this thread. She does obviously have two glaring impediments, but as well as the aggression she does seem to have a sharp legal mind. There's videos of her running rings around RFK for instance. (Not that it takes much to dumbfound an Anti-Vaxxer. MAHA!)
  25. Because you can buy the skeleton key for £20.00 not found one yet I can’t open
  26. Someone’s boasting on the internet again about their shooting 🤷‍♂️
  27. Yeah. I like the look of the Milwaukee one but Stihl do an angled head which the most artful gypsy sticker I know swears by.
