  2. SRT and no tip reductions will help lengthen your climbing. To start your day try nicotine, caffeine & toxic masculinity help as well.
  3. A heavy weight that the majority of us have been through at some point and if they say they haven't they are lying, you might feel that its set, that it won't improve but that's not true, everything gets lighter in the end even if it feels at the time that it won't. it will. just persevere knowing that there will be a way out and you are not alone.
  4. That’s exactly what I mean, the difference in class is staggering. I’ve never rated AJ as a great boxer, but he’s half decent, and can bang. Have you seen the size difference? JP isn’t a Jack Dempsey. AJ isn’t Jess Willard. I can’t see an early knockout doing anything for the JP brand? He’s a clever lad, whatever happens he will spin it his way. Surely AJ is a multimillionaire? I would take £50m for a sleep, but not if I was loaded anyway. I’m fascinated by it, but not enough to pay a penny for it. It’s not boxing. I won’t take anything away from Jake Paul. He’s a tough lad who trains hard, he’s got power, can box ok and is an improving fighter. This is a piss take though.
  5. When oil prices start going up due to this, who is going to benefit? Does Trump and his backers have money in oil? You'd think they were releasing the Epstein files tomorrow the way the distraction is going.
  6. Wordle 1,643 X/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩⬜⬜🟩 Fcked that right up. Searching for double letters that weren't there.
  7. Hadn't heard of a Toyota recall? Plenty of Nissans did get scrapped or f8sh plated though!
  8. I like the honey/mustard or brown sugar/ mustard. Use powdered mustard as it is hotter than the other stuff. This made me laugh though! Check the YouTube videos of Americans trying it!
  9. End of my day from earlier in the week
  10. Today
  11. Taken yesterday in rural Warwickshire.
  12. That’s amazing, where was this taken? I took one yesterday, I’ll post it, maybe change the thread to sunsets and rises!!😆
  13. I got there kids, 8,6 and 2. Would be helpful if they could come out and give me a hand when they are older. The 6 year old is mad keen for it! I took the track chipper out to site and we had to get down a nadgery steepish footpath. "Dad let me know if you need to use the winch to get back out!" Anyhow I like some others work a bit on my own, less so climbing on my own, tis hard work but it is all your own.
  14. I did the Coke thing the first couple of times I cooked a ham. It's okay, but I prefer to use cider now. Plus some good strong spices. I used to do a honey and mustard glaze thing as well, but can't be bothered with the extra faff these days. It tastes nice enough with the cider and spice anyway.
  15. He's not got a granite chin like Wardley, Joyce (pre zhang), Usyk or the great Dave Allen, but I wouldn't say it's Glass. He's never been one punch ko'd like Amir Kahn or Huni for instance. The only 2 times AJ has been stopped he was stopped a few rounds after taking the initial equilibrium shot. I'm no AJ fan, but there are levels to this sport and Jake is so far below AJ it's crazy
  16. Wow, that's really, properly impressive, Joe Griffin... I so need to get back to the gym, right now, this evening -if only to see what 350kg looks like, on a weight bar! I bet I couldn't lift half that !? -come to think of it, I reckon our 6'' pto timberwolf weighs about that.. unreal. Well done, fella.
  17. Well done!
  18. I know it's supposed to be a sunset but ........Really happy with this pic from this morning - certainly one of my better ones.
  19. Hi all long time since posting on here I am now 64 in February the big 65 climb two days a week for myself and others I have worked with before. As a hobby i took up weight lifting 17 months ago in March 2024 last October broke 4 world records in deadlifting this year me and my stepson came joint first in the tandem deadlift 455kg this year I did 3 world records Viking lift 355 trap bar 300kg normal deadlift 240kg so climbing trees makes you stronger than you think
  20. I’m looking at buying a 2015 Hilux and fitting an arb tipper as a work truck (body fitted by a professional coach builder not myself). However, as it qualifies for the chassis recall (in age anyway) my question is-does anyone have experience getting a chassis recalled if the vehicle has a tipping body or non-standard rear body? Will they replace as usual or is it a different story?
  21. Lets not forget AJ has a glass chin, one thing you can say about jake he gives 100% so never say never but i will go with AJ KO in 3 rounds.
  22. I think the most disappointing aspect of this is not the failure to regain the Ashes, it’s the fact that apart from briefly on the second day of the first test, England have not been remotely in the contest. Abject.
  23. Christmas Ham Salad (for when it’s all become too much) – A Cottage Kitchen ACOTTAGEKITCHEN.CO.UK Happy Christmas! Full yet? Boxing Day is probably my favourite food day of the year - no pressure, no rules, no timescale (and in my cottage you will now have been wearing pyjamas for... Pork – A Cottage Kitchen ACOTTAGEKITCHEN.CO.UK Posts about Pork written by Hazel " I simmered it in cola and pickling spices for a couple of hours yesterday before glazing it with rose hip jam and a mix of fiery English and sweet wholegrain mustards before blasting it in the oven for 20 minutes to caramelise."
  24. Another "proppa pod" listener? As far as this fight being "scripted" goes, i cant see it. There may be an unwritten gentlemans agreement to let it go a few rounds before turning up the heat, but a secret contract etc would be career suicide for Eddie Hearn. Match fixing or betting fraud would get the FBI involved, and would it be the end for Matchroom in the USA if not globally if anyone blew the whistle... all for what? It's a big event but nothing beyond other cards Eddie's been involved with. If it's a no holds barred fight, then AJ gets the job done in 1 round.
