  4. As for canopy backs I have one on mine. Can’t remember the brand but they are pretty popular. As for water tightness. The only time I have had any significant ingress of moisture is in the motor way in torrential rain as your rear or parked up in similar circumstance. The two vertical gaps either side of the tail gate let the water in. BTW. The picture is chipping into the scrub. Also to note FTR. There is a lot less tool crime here in Norway. So not a worry so far in that regard. Locks work well though.
  5. Didn’t have a canopy on it but there are quite a few of the new shape Hilux out here in Thailand. Launched last year, I guess they will be The Eurozone soon enough.
  6. Really? Defender ownership can have downsides? Do tell. 🤪
  7. Looks like apple canker but then the twigs often die back

  10. 4x4, van, 3500kg towing are the 3 main good things that meant I got a 110 hardtop. Add low depreciation, it almost looks sensible. There are a few downsides to owning a defender though.....
  11. @Woodworks How are these coming along? Updated pics please?
  12. It's a couple of feet up. You could be right about one being engulfed by the other.

  17. Morning all, Should be dry here. Cedar dismantle today. Young lad climbing, Awkward exit from rear garden, timber stays on site. Two dragging, I’m on ropes. Be safe.

I'd love a 4x4 van than tows 3500kg. Much more practical than a pick

  22. Morning Stubs et al. My back is sorted, some birch reductions today, all arisings to stay at the bottom of the trees, so crucially no dragging for me. Rained all night, but cleared up today.
  23. Morning all. Sounds calm out there, weather settled down thankfully. Late start this morning, working more local to me than yard for a change so brought mog home, straight to site. Have a good one folks.
  24. Morning all . Cool and quiet here after some overnight rain . 3c bit of a frost .
