  1. Past hour
  2. He's not got a granite chin like Wardley, Joyce (pre zhang), Usyk or the great Dave Allen, but I wouldn't say it's Glass. He's never been one punch ko'd like Amir Kahn or Huni for instance. The only 2 times AJ has been stopped he was stopped a few rounds after taking the initial equilibrium shot. I'm no AJ fan, but there are levels to this sport and Jake is so far below AJ it's crazy
  3. Wow, that's really, properly impressive, Joe Griffin... I so need to get back to the gym, right now, this evening -if only to see what 350kg looks like, on a weight bar! I bet I couldn't lift half that !? -come to think of it, I reckon our 6'' pto timberwolf weighs about that.. unreal. Well done, fella.
  4. Well done!
  5. I know it's supposed to be a sunrise but ........Really happy with this pic from this morning - certainly one of my better ones.
  6. Hi all long time since posting on here I am now 64 in February the big 65 climb two days a week for myself and others I have worked with before. As a hobby i took up weight lifting 17 months ago in March 2024 last October broke 4 world records in deadlifting this year me and my stepson came joint first in the tandem deadlift 455kg this year I did 3 world records Viking lift 355 trap bar 300kg normal deadlift 240kg so climbing trees makes you stronger than you think
  7. I’m looking at buying a 2015 Hilux and fitting an arb tipper as a work truck (body fitted by a professional coach builder not myself). However, as it qualifies for the chassis recall (in age anyway) my question is-does anyone have experience getting a chassis recalled if the vehicle has a tipping body or non-standard rear body? Will they replace as usual or is it a different story?
  8. Lets not forget AJ has a glass chin, one thing you can say about jake he gives 100% so never say never but i will go with AJ KO in 3 rounds.
  9. I think the most disappointing aspect of this is not the failure to regain the Ashes, it’s the fact that apart from briefly on the second day of the first test, England have not been remotely in the contest. Abject.
  10. Christmas Ham Salad (for when it’s all become too much) – A Cottage Kitchen ACOTTAGEKITCHEN.CO.UK Happy Christmas! Full yet? Boxing Day is probably my favourite food day of the year - no pressure, no rules, no timescale (and in my cottage you will now have been wearing pyjamas for... Pork – A Cottage Kitchen ACOTTAGEKITCHEN.CO.UK Posts about Pork written by Hazel " I simmered it in cola and pickling spices for a couple of hours yesterday before glazing it with rose hip jam and a mix of fiery English and sweet wholegrain mustards before blasting it in the oven for 20 minutes to caramelise."
  11. Another "proppa pod" listener? As far as this fight being "scripted" goes, i cant see it. There may be an unwritten gentlemans agreement to let it go a few rounds before turning up the heat, but a secret contract etc would be career suicide for Eddie Hearn. Match fixing or betting fraud would get the FBI involved, and would it be the end for Matchroom in the USA if not globally if anyone blew the whistle... all for what? It's a big event but nothing beyond other cards Eddie's been involved with. If it's a no holds barred fight, then AJ gets the job done in 1 round.
  12. Today
  13. Just to repeat if you were to jump it from a other power source, it does not need or want to be 36v and not directly to another battery. Once its about 20-30v total, the Stihl charger shouldnt have anything to complain about, it will be within the normal range of a discharged battery. It should be done in a way thats current limited. You can get cheap current limiting boards off amazon for nearly nothing. You should be able to find something on how to set it up on YT. You want to start with only 100miliAmps until it gets to 20v or so then let the proper Stihl charger finish it off. 18v battery or mains power supply -> limiter board -> dead battery.
  14. I think Jake would beat Tommy now .
  15. Wordle 1,643 4/6 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  16. Eddie Hearn has stated as this is a professional bout, any scripting would put him in jeopardy as a promoter and have his license stripped. I guess time will tell.
  17. I will get a new battery at the start of the new year. I am a bit windy about connecting the new battery to the old one but in theory it shouldn't harm the new one but maybe it will trigger a fault in the new one? Is there any merit in connecting a single 18v battery to the old one? Or 2 x 18v in series? I have loads of them! The consensus seems to be that if the battery are completely discharged then you have to reset the BMS with the Stihl software, but I've not actually had this confirmed yet as the Stihl software is very expensive, plus I suppose the quickest and easiest method is to chuck a new battery on the thing. Mark at Skyland said he would look into putting a battery on his diagnostic but for sure it will not be high on his priority list! I think as these battery things get more popular it would benefit from understanding the functions, but the manufactures also have to want to do this. My brother has a 12 month old e-bike which he stupidly pressure washed, water got in and it blew a diode or whatever in the BMS board. No help from the manufacturer - just buy a new battery!! It's fixable if you recognise the diode, but it burned and can't read anything on it. Tried to find a hobby electronics' person but don't know one. In the past I used to send all my faulty car music centre's to a guy who was an electronics' wizard at an RAF base, he fixed everything!! If you need manufacturer's kit to remove codes or switch thing on again then we're snookered!!
  18. Yeah a classic but was wondering if anyone had a nice alternative.
  19. Something involving honey and mustard I'd say...
  20. I read rumours on the internet (totally trustworthy, obvs) that it will be stage managed and Joshua will be contractually not allowed to hit Paul really hard. Hope Joshua wins by KO though, mainly as I find Paul (and "influencers"🤮) annoying.
  21. What happened?
  22. Hi, yep I don't make any claims to know much about this tech but I'll also be interested to know if the battery can be boosted enough to be charged. I also wandered if even just putting it somewhere warm would help. There's really nothing to be lost in trying to boost a duff battery but I know I wouldn't risk damaging a new battery. Just last week I had my AP300 battery charging through a watt meter as I'm building up a list of what all my appliances use in order to get a handle on potential off grid requirements and I was quite surprised how many watts were measured, It started charging using around 250 watts and gradually increased to nearly 700 before fully charged.
  23. Yes, you usually still need to notify the council/tree officer for works within a Conservation Area, even if it’s permitted development. Since it’s within the RPA, submitting the AMS and getting written confirmation before starting is the sensible (and safest) approach.
  24. Exactly Joe. And AJ would almost certainly bang Tommy out pretty quickly. There has to be some plan/script that we aren’t privy to. I doubt AJ would just take a dive, it can’t be as simple as that.
