Hedge thinnings? That sounds too thin in diameter and something for a chipper rather than a logger. Thin stems are ok for kindling, but not great to burn indoors in bulk. Its all sapwood and the bark holds in the moisture if green.

Every problem contains within itself, the seed of its solution. Every time the police arrest a normal, right thinking person, for wrong-speak, it tips the public sentiment needle a little more to the right. Another crack in the dam and a little more pressure.

Thinking about getting a branch logger like a remet 200 for the massive pile of crappy hedge thinnnings i have. Have seen quite a videos on line and they look ideal but can't find much long term feedback on reliability, maintenance etc. If anyone has real world experience they wouldn't mind sharing I'd be appreciative. Thanks john

Got to admit Mick, I was a good "brash rat" and enjoyed that menial work and it gave someone a break as well showing them the standard I wanted stuff left like! Good for the tummy muscles too!
