  1. Past hour
  2. Area might also be a consideration as she’s already concerned at the volume of split wood that’s stacked. Never heard her complain when she’s sitting in front of the wood burner though😂
  3. He needs investigating and dealing with 100% but do we need to know every detail, fed up of hearing about it. Let the police do their thing and let us know once sorted. Headline the other day; 'Andrew gets waitrose delivery to his new house'. Couldn't give a crap tbh. Obviously he still going to buy food from somewhere.
  4. Early on, I considered installing the non-Efi version or down sizing to the Honda 24hp carb or Efi In retrospect that might have been the path of least resistance and stress. Certainly less expensive than buying another chipper though I do not regret doing so. The Kubota powered Evo165 has not missed a beat nor has the very fabric of the machine fallen apart Even recently on Arbtalk FB, yet another Vanguard Efi, this time a TW230, mysteriously used all its oil in under 30 hours seizing the engine without the low oil sensor activating.
  5. English woodlands timber would do this but probably an hour from Basingstoke, depends how far you're willing to travel.
  6. Did they mention on the course if/when it was being revised? I know they're looking at BS3998 now
  7. Rough night and the has now got it! I fetched the tea on account of wind, she doesn't appreciate it! Light domestic duties and car wash then rugby this aft. Doubt we will get to the pub, cannot taste anything! Halve, Ransom. Did my register on the tablet earlier but it wouldn't post, sorry if it now comes twice!
  8. Just Google it with the file extension you want (".pdf") and you'll find a copy pretty quickly
  9. Morning all. Register attendance has suffered the last few days, not been much spark in the morning here. Making good progress on the site clearance, this last week saw all the felling and winching finished, only two trees left to process on Monday and we're ready to forward the timber to roadside. Then it's just a run round with the heizo to finish. Been an interesting mix of work, always enjoy cutting for the crane processing big trees, much the same engagement as doing windblow, but the ecology side has been rewarding too. Lot of bat features identified to be retained for use elsewhere on site. Starting to feel it physically, glad the monthly physio appointment is due! Have a good one folks.
  10. Today
  11. I am trying to source 3 * 2400mm x 250mm * 100mm sleepers, but am struggling to find anyone in the counties listed. I'm near Basingstoke. If anyone knows a local sawmill that could potentially do this, can you please message. Thanks
  12. So I did the Arb Association 1 day course for the BS5837:2012. But it didn't cover everything in the book, which means I'll need to get hold of the BSI guide. Its £300 to buy which is insane. Can anyone recommend anywhere else a copy can be found online?
  13. Par four. Wordle 1,708 4/6* ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟩 🟨⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  14. Wordle 1,708 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟩⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. I’m not defending Andrew at all, but if you are going after people for ‘misconduct during public office’ wouldn’t you have to build a really massive courtroom first?
  16. Good morning. Mountain of Oak and now ash to cut split. Best get to it before the weather ruins playtime. Have fun.
  17. Morning all, Delivering logs then woodchip. Maybe do a bit in the garden later. Have a good weekend
  18. Chatter on the internet, is just that, meaningless. People putting 2 and 2 together and making 500.
  19. Wordle 1,708 3/6 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Weather has finally turned here. Might have to do some gardening this weekend.
  21. Wordle 1,708 5/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  22. Wordle 1,708 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  23. Can you put up photo? We are say £18-30/m depending on size etc. Aiming for 2-2.5 stakes and binders a meter and you are looking at 6-8 quid in materials alone!
  24. Wordle 1,708 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  25. Nice looking hedge to lay and your cuts look good. While we normally do South of England or Midland we have also laid similar using minimal stakes and no binders. Using a stake every 2m(ish) and on alternating sides. Use stakes to hold brash and the odd preacher round the outside if stake to 'lock in'. If that makes sense?
  26. Morning all . Very mild today 10 or 11c and a short period of rain mid afternoon but not much . SW wind .
