  5. Anybody else there to witness a fantastic game? A friend asked me down as he has permanent seats there. I have been twice before and not enjoyed it as it was either freezing cold or raining or both but this time the weather was perfect and I think they seem to have altered the floodlighting as everything seemed so clear. The atmosphere was great and also better than previous occasions I have just watched the Welsh game and thought that they did well in spite of the score. They were not only up against a great side but also up against a side that had obviously been given a strong dressing down by the management! The quality of passing and kicking is a joy to watch and also my attention is with the Red Roses whose handling and passing is also superb. Being a sad old git I can watch Ellie again and again!
  6. It is a rare condition when certain people working with wood all their lives have their brain matter replaced with sawdust!
  7. Miserable weather here, head-cold in retreat, try and nail some paperwork down, then fiddlefart around in the workshop. Then the North London derby on the telly. Standard stuff.
  8. Morning, snow is melting away here but still cold. A day of staying warm and rest for me. Enjoy your day
  9. Today

  15. No mate, its not that big, must be the aspect of the photo! You can easily stand and split from the ground. Guy that built it for us made sure it was sub 750 kg for the road.
  16. Pyracantha has got to be the ultimate in intruder repellant hedging. It's significantly more hostile than Hawthorn even. Probably grows more quickly as well.
  17. You say that, but ......
  18. Agreed, I doubt anyone can argue against that ......
  19. But can you transplant it one Saturday and lay it the next?
  20. There should be an enquiry into MP's of all parties and their collusion with Russia.
  21. After encountering a series of nocturnal 'unwanted yard visitors' we layed our 5yr old Hawthorn hedge that we had planted, along the vulnerable gateway entrance. It was 25mm dia x 1.8m high big transplants, less than 20m length. Anticipating future incursions, we then added two strands of razor wire fencing, at 50cm and 100cm high. Worked a treat! No further problems (at that point, anyway!) 15 yrs since. πŸ‘ We've also layed big overgrown gappy Hawthorn hedges (with saw and excavator) , in a something like a Midlands style, to successfully provide instant impenetrable boundaries, for LA's and FC. Again, worked brilliantly.
  22. Don't threaten me with a good time.
  23. Well what a a surprise that is.
  24. What! So you dont have a green rubber suit covered in goose fat? Youre living in the past mate. Get with the program.
  25. I can't tell if this is AI or if Kram has stepped his game up.
  26. Picked one up in Aldi today actually.. wouldn't have seen that 20 years ago πŸ˜‚
  27. Strong built bit of kit there, do you stand on the bed when operating?
