He says he gets the same money as when he was teaching . Yesterday was double bubble obviously .

Morning all. Summer storm day for the North. See what it brings, the council's seems to be expecting trouble. Won't be much climbing done today. Have a good one folks.

Those would be facts, you know they don’t go down well with some people’s “ worldview “ or indeed the simple fact that removing said offenders or stopping them actually getting here would reduce that “20” times more likely figure !! Nothing like a bit of Whataboutery if there’s nothing else left. We have plenty of our own home grown shit here to deal with , importing even worse shit and treating them better than we do our own veterans and pensioners is nothing short of madness.

🤔Not quite sure you or the other member are getting this. I guess 20 times more likely isn’t enough for some. Sore thumbs more likely I’d say Mark.

If that's the case then why not just stop males (92% of abusers), and family and friends (80% of abusers) from having any contact with children in their social circles? However it doesn't fit with your worldview.

Lots of them via the CoS across the Highlands and Islands if you feel the need. I missed out on this one (oiro £30k iirc) a few years ago, close to St Andrews so a very viable let.

Love being a log goblin, I clean up after lazy groundies who leave limbs and rounds lying about and enjoy the glow a season or three later, thank you guys, please don't stop being lazy.

I would tell them it's perfectly fine, doesn't need any work whatsoever for all least 15-20 years (adjust that to your expected retirement age) As an added bit of security give them your 'new' phone number for any further concerns.

My first ever tree job was being a groundy on a monkey puzzle fell. Welders gauntlets offer a bit of respite.

Never done one. Never going to. I've seen them up close. That was bad enough.

Some more local chicken consultants concur and also add that hindquarter feathering is another giveaway. Fluffy roundarses for girls. Sharper thighs for boys.

Arbs good and you can make good money if your head is screwed on. A few years of grinding and you'll be fine. 33 is nothing, I switched at 37, give it a punt

This thread feels underused. It could be mega useful. Aware it's harder to post things without specific questions/stimulus but anyone feel free to chime in with any little win/loss they've experienced recently out there at the coalface of customer service. As seemingly insignificant as you like. Someone will learn something. Tell you what, let's talk websites. I'm writing the guff for mine atm. I know what most arb websites look like. What have people had on theirs that have caused them grief? What don't you have on there but keep thinking you should add?

As you already have a rough terrain FL ticket , try telehandlers on building sites , good pay , agencies always seem to be looking for operatives ....but Arb work is more fun / interesting ....
