  8. We need lots of woodchips to line pathways between raised beds. We also can accept a moderate number of logs and often looking for logs both as a way to create bug hotels and grow mushrooms. Please call ahead of time to arrange a dropoff. We can generally accept last minute deliveries, but there needs to be someone to open the gate. We are a community garden that attempts to use permaculture practices to create a unique space for gardening, relaxing and food growing. The front of the garden features raised beds planted with vegetables, herbs and flowers while the back garden is a deliberately left wild to foster increased biodiversity in the area. A newly planted hedgerow of edible plants encircles the entire garden.

    Holly's Veg Patch

I am creating a vegetable patch/allotment and would like to use woodchip for the paths (60-90cm wide, 8m long). I would also like to use logs to create edges for the beds. We have a large gate near the allotment so easy to access (lawn garden, gravel driveway). Any help with woodchip and/or logs would be much appreciated! If you would like to contact me for more info or directions to the site, please email or text, thank you!

WANTED: wood suitable for log burner. Can hand saw smaller and split so any suitable sizes would be great. Plenty of drive space, easy access from M4/A470. I don't mind disposing of smaller branches and foliage if necessary. Give me a text first so that I can move a vehicle to allow space.

  19. Sowters Lane

    Sowters lane

We are available to take trees logs and stumps, please contact to arrange delivery as we can get full at busy times of the year. 🌲 Thanks Ian
  20. The tip/drop site is above and behind the properties. To access the tip site, proceed past the properties to find a narrow tarmac lane turning by the corner of allotments(Brimscombe end)(there is a community notice board by the gate). Take this turning to drive UP the hill. The lane turns sharp left hairpin, and becomes a farm track that it into the woods behind the houses. Proceed a short distance up this track where you find a flattened area accessing the garden of 109 and adjoining field. This is just past a stand alone lock up garage on the left and before the track narrows.
  21. This is a gated stud that will open automatically, the tip site is signposted as the ‘Marquee’ the rest is self explanatory

    Bearded Wood

A location to drop logs/chippings/brash off. I have the tools to process large pieces. I prefer logs of any type, but will take brash and chip if it allows me to get logs too. Liam from Stan Timmins and Sons has been using me a lot to help him clear his sites. I normally collect, but I'm not against people bringing them to me 😁 I've got a large drive which can be tipped on. It's about 5m2. Also a double gate straight into the garden.
  23. Hi, I have recently joined on a hunt for wood to burn at home. We don't have any heating in our house so rely on logs and kindling to keep us warm, and this is set to run out for this year very soon! Please can anyone let me know if they have (or know how to get hold of) any dry logs or kindling. We are based in Nutley, East Sussex. thanks in advance!
  24. Come to the top of trusham hill past the conifer hedge and continue past hill park house and it’s the next double gates on the right hand side
  25. Tom L

    Got £Logs?

Curb side tip with very easy access, approx 5 tonne. Potentially have space for up to 20T drop off at different location.
