  1. teenage missus and 3 kids sadly the stalls always get hit at the shows, too hard to stop it all, too many people and too much small kit not tied down
  2. is mustard particularly keen? ive never been too keen on it, perhaps the feeling is mutual

  4. im failing to see the issue. you have a saw that works, and youre questioning why?
  5. got yourself a jobsworth. every so often i get one, i dance to their tune for the application then got back to old habits after that not much else to do

  9. Q: where are all the arborists A: in trees youre welcome
  10. top tip maybe in future tips, run the rope in a loop round the whole load and tie both ends to the container and drive forward? if you get me? pull the whole lot in one go. get a larger one at the front to pull all the rest as you drive.
  11. is anyone gonna rent you a car if you lost one already, carlos? hehehe
  12. this guy stole them. hahaha
  13. the stakes are straight, its the world thats on a skew
  14. second that, once broken in theyre great. but to start with theyre a pisstake.
  15. noted, but the photo seems to show lean towards the field? subject to top weight on the tree, and wind direction. "close" to the house is also subjective my final comments being if theyre sufficiently worried then drop it. even the best of us cant or wont state unconditionally that its safe to remain? i never state that any established tree is "safe".
  16. another vote to leave it alone, probably take some weight off the top with a professional reduction. questions to consider: how much top is on it? cant see from the photos supplied. what will it hit if it fails? looks like a bit of fencing and an open field? which way is the main wind coming from? the ultimate answer is if youre seriously worried and can afford it maybe it needs to go.
  17. only ever trying to be an arse, get to the bottom of things, firmly seated in the moment, butt sometimes people rear against me. i suppose if my arse is online not on the line, its got bluetooth and wifi so it must be a smart arse.
  18. she said, chelsea.
  19. ya cant have a yew truck, it just wooden work
  20. cue a hundred responses all claiming the boots they wear are the best not many people have tried enough different pairs to compare i favour protector pro, full leather and over the ankle for good support, once they wear in.
  21. fyi that was like 20 for each saw. im running multiple saws, some with about 15-20 new spare chains some with only 3 or 4 spares.
  22. like it says, how many is too many or how many do i/you/we need? one on the saw and a spare? handful of spares? a shelf full of spares on the principle that the price is only gonna go up? is 20 too many?
  23. that ladders upside down
  24. seconded. looks similar to part of tool-free chain tension set up
  25. no second line in then? or tool line? oh dear oh dear oh dear.
