  1. Chuck some packs of dessicant/silica gel in the wire compartment. Keeps the moisture down and stops the corrosion.
  2. Those little Kemmpis are great. Really nice machines and easy to use. Synergic so you can tell it the material thickness and it'll do the settings for you, to a point, you can tweak them or do it manually. I've run mine off a 13A plug and never blew a fuse even at full tilt.
  3. As if. I only have Hooskies, you know that. T540XP with a 20 though.. πŸ€”
  4. Saw one recently and it was an MS200T with a 20" bar. Ugh.. ridiculous. πŸ™„
  5. Well of course you don't, Stubby! You don't work for Echo!
  6. The UV will also affect the paint on the machine and the plastics on the saw.
  7. I have the same machine, it's great. I take it out and do on-site work with it too.
  8. Well it's for storing your auto-stop spout stupid!
  9. F**k's sake.. πŸ˜‚
  10. Because i don't carry the bigger bottle out on jobs, i keep those spare 100ml bottles in the combi can. Also, i previously had the 5L bottle of Stihl oil, so it needed to be measured out one way or another. Bought that 1L bottle as ran out of oil but not using my saws much at the moment. You're right, in a way it seems pointless. When i'm doing it fulltime i'll get a second combi can. Unlikely to run out with 10L on hand.
  11. Works well. Full to the top is slightly over 100ml. If you use the normal 1L measuring bottle you can fill them to exactly 100ml. Buy oil in bulk bottles, works out cheap.
  12. Make you own! I bought 10 100ml bottles off Amazon for like 3 quid.
  13. Winding my ex up..
  14. I thought there was an echo in here, but there wasn't. It was a Silky Zubat, a 562 and an 880.
  15. Ah, that's where i'm going wrong, i'm a moose.
  16. The curved ones are awful to use. Gomtaro 300.
  17. I don't blame you mate.
  18. Don't be ridiculous. It's not a secret.
  19. Been doing it since Feb. Mostly groundie work but a little climbing too. No tickets yet but will be getting on a course in the new year to do saw/felling/aerial rescuse/saw from rope and hopefully some others too.
  20. It's fine when the company treats it like that, but many don't. You're right, a near miss report should be an opportunity to allow extra precautions to prevent an accident. However, many treat it as the person doing the report being in the wrong and give them a disciplinary over it. At least, that's been my experience.
  21. I was showing off my excellent maths skills but then saw it'd already been covered and i was late to the party as usual. I'd rather climb and dismantle.
  22. Well she clearly wasn't wide enough for him to figure it out! πŸ˜‚ But how many feet wide? πŸ€” πŸ˜‚ What ticket is Aerial Mooning From A Rope And Harness? πŸ€”
