  1. That's me trying to make it to the car without getting more mud on my boots.
  2. It was like getting a handy off an epileptic having a fit. (You calling me a wanker???)
  3. Y'know, i did get into bed and my arms were tingling a bit from it all. 😂
  4. My mate called and asked for help ringing up some logs for firewood. What i hadn't anticipated was the sheer volume of logs he had or the muddy shit'ole they were in.. It was previously saturated grass but driving machines through has torn it all up. easy moving them: First time wearing my new boots and they're like this.. And finally used my 395. Bought it in March and this is its first use. Not run in yet but already a beast.
  5. This is actually an accurate representation of me.
  6. No offence, mate, but i reckon you've answered your own question there.
  7. Dunno, Sam, you say 5½ but you might be all 6s and 7s.
  8. Why, did you do the work? 😂
  9. Because she wouldn't know what the finished article would look like until after the work was completed.
  10. There are two types of people; those that can extrapolate from incomplete data. You are the latter.
  11. Just yesterday my new Meindls arrived, from Gustharts. They also do them in a 5.5 but are 75p more. They have memory foam gubbins. Very comfy.
  12. You look different there. Can't quite put my finger on it. 🤔
  13. It's easier to get forgiveness than permission.
  14. I fully believe ⅔ of that.
  15. Might get a new one, dunk it in boiling water or warm it up with a heat gun and try to pop it apart.
  16. Probably the inner o-ring swells, making it stick open. Not sure if you can get the spouts open to replace it without damaging them though. Probably just needs a viton o-ring or something.
  17. Sums up Stihl users quite well. 😂
  18. No, you are wrong. 🤨
  19. Yeah, in typical German style it's an optional extra you have to buy seperately. It's a bit stupid like that, to build in a holder but not actually include the spout. Also makes no sense that you can have two spouts but only have storage for one? (I know everyone hates the Husky can but i like mine.)
  20. Figured as much. The problem is.. you can never have too many..
  21. How do you like the 440? I was tempted but now with the 550 i have no need for one. I've used one and really like the 241s. I'm not a Stihl fan by any means but i like the 241. My mate has a well-used one and it's a lovely little machine. Shame you didn't like it. I very nearly bought one, but once i had my 550 i felt no need for a smaller backhandle. Also, all my saws are Husky, so i can interchange bars. That puts me off buying Stihls now.
  22. I think the 435/440 is the closest, but not a "pro" saw as such. The 550 is so compact and nimble i don't think there's really a need for a 40cc Husky pro saw.
  23. No mate they're Huskies. 😏 (Yeah yeah.. Husky jokes incoming..)
  24. Don't lend out saws at all! Glad you got it fixed.
  25. That's really odd. I've run all my saws on Stihl HP Ultra and not had a problem.
