  1. Thank you for your comments. I will do as you suggested and have it reshaped down the line if it still bothers me. I paid £250 for this, as I only got 1 quotation I wouldn't know if this is over the odds?
  2. Oh I always assumed winter time was the best time but the arborist never said otherwise
  3. To be specific do you mean, the top of the trunk should be cut down vertically to where the branches still remain?
  4. What areas of the tree are you referring to? I may have someone else out to fix it.
  5. Not sure what that means. Was told by someone to post my pictures here as its a big community of arborists. So was just looking for information by professionals.
  6. I asked for a height reduction but thought it would have looked more shaped
  7. Hello I had a reduction job done by an arborist local to me. I thought in the end my tree looked strange and wasn't sure if the job was done well. Can others give me there thoughts?

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
