  1. Hi looking at some fuel cans will be for 2 stroke use would prefer clear or at least strip to see level. 5-6litre or 10? both have pros and cons! (How many litres would a 50cc use in 8hours?) Not too fussed on chain oil type as mostly for brush cutters already have a combi can.But if combi can is a lot better could go with it. What would want though is type that can use those cut off spouts as don't like those screw in flexy nozzles as always either end up with it flicking out or dribbling everywhere after! Those Stihl single cans do there cut of nozzle fit?
  2. Stihl list many sizes have a 24" 3/8 058 on my 372. There not shy on making to fit others! Hi if is 063 chain or if been running too tight on bar ie no slack? it's probably worn/damaged either or both parts so i'd just replace with new bar and chain. plus will probably need new rim sprocket? need to check as if been struggling pulling chain will be pretty worn! esp at 20 year old! and if using new chain need new sprocket unless mint? Stick some pics up with side cover and chain off so can see sprocket etc and type as could be rim or one piece? You also need to remove it to grease bearing inside maybe put new one in if been very dry run?
  3. Lift the chain out off groove the links below will have chain type digits
  4. We cut a load right back all along boundary line so they was just trunks now look like a forest on top! Was when lock down/in/under started
  5. Have a look at the Oregon Jet head and Techni blades weve had head for years running with 4mm Flexi blade does most things up to brambles/light bush last well unlike round lines even brambles don't wreck it. Ive just got head and Techni 7mm's said even better than flexi tried the thinner flexi out now got machine working ok cuts good. To me they cover all upto heavy bushes which then you'd use a flat cutter blade so far more useful and mulches everything up also. @Mark_Skyland sells them so should have info/help? oregon+techni+blade+7mm - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM

  8. Ebay but some places don't like naming but also it's full of bugs (scammers/counterfeiters)

  12. always on it never get off it!???
  13. friends had the smaller honda for ages since Stihl 4stroke popped it's clogs pretty smooth must say don't quite like the Oregon head that use with tech flex cord with 4 pieces but give it credit did cope seems great on fuel also. Nice and light i found it's not the one with fancy stepped off/up handle just bog standard horns. The Romanian Bell End that he had doing(fooking)things for him didn't manage to kill it!
  14. Hii If "Lives" where you have in hand? Looks like locator for ar8e end of clutch/brake cover Is there a corresponding lug on cover? You could use something like JB wonder metal to repair/stick back
  15. Say's above injector pump seals! If late though should be common rail? so more likely injector leak as tips not sealing so allows rail to depressurise so drains into sump. VW engines do it. Electric injectors/common rail is constant pressure to injector the piezo shuts it where as older engines had pump/lift pump with injectors only feeding whats pumped at IP once turned over
  16. £60 just about get a cup of "Trendy" Coffee if lucky!☕ Forget the Croissant well outta price range! lol
  17. @spudulike will be along with his Breakdown truck
  18. Hi says on clutch >OFF if think about it it's same way engine turns chain! or would just undo! I'd go full rattle just need the Shock as a clean thread it's just where been driven tight. So quick burst should do it. Unlike my dam Crankshaft pulley bolt that needs wanging all the way as thread lock coated
  19. Hi nope ive undone/done up wheel bolts with same Rattle driver 1/4-1/2" converter and 1/2" socket so a clutch is Phaff your not undoing only as such shocking it to break where it's been under load reason why trying to do with spanner/ratchet need to stop crank turning while something like a blunt cold chisel? and whack with hammer or rattle gun does it without needing to stop crank turning
  20. That wire is oil pump drive on inside of drum is a recess that picks that wire up should line them up when replacing drum, was going to say about sprocket looking worm! To remove clutch if have an impact driver/wrench? use a socket on hex in middle then quick rattle to the right if not something blunt on outer edge of clutch and a whack with hammer it's not the force but the quick shock
  21. Have you used the Decompression button? makes life somewhat easier on the testicles! Never going to Rev/ring like a smaller saw as bigger piston so more rotating mass but lots more torque/grunt which is what there about where as small engines are all about revs ie more lively
  22. What area you living in? as i find gear in many places on my travels as find some on gumtree/Flea bay/ my forums
