  1. Hi if you got it on flea bay and isn't right go into purchased items and on right is options on item bought can report as fake or not as described and get cash back. Friends have done many also other one gets loads of free gear as they say UK but not along with VAT fraud but it isn't only China doing fraud we had a shop&house/home selling fake power pro braid which is a shimano owned brand and they'd got loads in from china and loading spools they got all had same bar code! they was also doing fraudulent feedback between them! So don't think safe as UK seller theres many Sh!tes out there ready to scam you. I have one on there atmo watching as suspect fake as late chain but no dimples on lower teeth like they have now
  2. Because easy start is/does as it says Easy start! your already putting combustible mixture in the cylinder rather than it has to do it its self so starts on that and runs on whats left till dies. Same thing with diesels being it's very volatile mixture diesels love it as easier to burn than getting air to temp high enough to fire diesel mix so low compression poor starters
  3. when you do bar nuts up do you lift sprocket end of the bar? As looking at it with the plate and marks etc the oil is escaping out of locating holes that tension peg locates in? Which would explain why wet there? Also how is the face to face either side of bar ie inside of clutch cover is that good as might not be clamping bar sound
  4. Might find being it's a "Special" as on label that it's the older parts or last of put together for likes of the Turkish market so has some of the newer bits like torx fixings but older casing etc? One way is look at parts as said of EM marked on them like clutch drum/air filter. Plus not helped now husky make some saws in China! Getting into bed with the Devil better get prepared for a sore rear end! Fords was always a favourite for doing that played havoc on spares as often didnt show up on systems!
  5. Hi i set it up so chain is just off dropping from underside of bar can see a gap but not full tooth Trouble is being outboard clutch harder to see how it meshes with rim sprocket!
  6. you obviously havent been along the Regents canal many runners/users complain of it myself give place a wide berth mostly but can see a smog layer along there on CCTV when isn't too windy bad on damp mornings
  7. Yeah but many are not burning that there using anything they can get there hands on thats the trouble. We know what should but rules and reality don't match up! often see them with half/most of a tree on top chopping it up. When it's your only source of heat etc like any other method it become dam expensive and many finding these days life on those isn't as cheap as thought it was!
  8. Has to be dried/seasoned wood which isnt "wet/Green"
  9. Simple it's called NOX why now they have banned green/wet wood types for wood burners
  10. but the revenue wont be there as many i know are not replacing there cars as can't afford to plus so many other businesses will close if no ones buying likes of fuel/parts etc already have it round here with lockdown. People will replace what they can anyway emissions are dropping all the time but we have a few other issues that increase it all the time one being the narrow boats along canal with wood burners etc and Fluffy Islington which has high nox has many houses using log burners and canals crammed with people living in boats if go along canal in evening chokes you with smog. There "Meant" to be offering a scrappage scheme run by TFL for Vans etc
  11. How much is it to have it "Breathed up on". Not that up on 2 strokes tuning done polishing and porting 4 strokes before. Had bar n bits off saw today do notice some little nicks on tips of teeth that locate in rim sprocket as move fingers over them! but installed new chain and similar so not chain. Wondering if new rim sprocket is monkey? you can hear it making noises as move it back n forth so maybe not meshing properly it was/is a kit from rotatech/northernarb place. il try old one but have another new one somewhere that arrived on the very slow postie boat! I understand about meshing old/new as used to race cycling so old sprockets if too worn with new chains was a sure way to dirt surf as jumped under load! and old chains on new sprockets was a sure way to snap chains! Bar is quite old do notice some like dimples in places along it like tapped with a pointy hammer but not excessive. Mount end there is what looks like two slight peaks but rest looks ok did run file along it and along edges but think will replace it anyway. Looked at the Sugi pro lam big nose as Chainsaw bars has two types 10 and 11 tooth sprocket [HUSKY3] BC2M-8J37-A Sugihara Pro Lam 15"[38cm] .325 .058 64 drive links WWW.CHAINSAWBARS.CO.UK [HUSKY3] BC2M-8J37-A Sugihara Pro Lam 15"[38cm] .325 .058 64 drive links or the Tsumuras. GB Pro and there is the Cannon also.Have the old? GB pro bars on my other two saws off white colour

    ULEZ

There is a petition started to stop it next year www.stopulez.com getting traction as way doing isn't fair penalising low paid/disabled etc and poorly thought out as newer cars that pollute more get away when older cleaner cars don't
  13. Yep bottom/other side of carb. Ive replaced air filter with the HD kit but what i did before when had issues was turn low out 1/4 and high 1/2 would you leave as is or turn them back in?? Been having one of those days doing 8 things at once which ends up with most of it on the floor!
  14. Watching/reading etc whats gone on with that one in video! I would replace Rim/Drum and needle bearing as looks like had play in them as worn which allows drum to wobble so spring arm is hitting plastic inside and by looks of it a pretty tight ship in there so with them and new oiler drive should be ok once repaired damage
  15. It was ok before changed sprocket etc just seems to snag as pull it forward towards nose you can feel it
  16. Was having a look at the bar edge to see if how worn/needs dressing etc Noticed that when pulled chain along it was snagging/Catching! was ok before only thing done is replace drum/rim and bearing so could it be chain is worn alot on teeth so miss mashing? Might try new chain later when have some time see if improves it?
  17. Had lid of carb changed round gauze part looked clean other two bits had some build up of tut "little long biscuit" think where fuel comes in in rubber part blew carb out and replaced them both.Do i need to down bottom end?
  18. Clutch & Oil Pump Assembly For Husqvarna 350 Chainsaw | L&S Engineers WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Spare Parts for Husqvarna 350 Chainsaw. Genuine and Non-Genuine Parts. Sprocket Bearing for Husqvarna 340 350 357XP 359 Chainsaws - 503 25 52 01 | L&S Engineers WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Sprocket Bearing for Husqvarna 340 345 350 357XP 359 Chainsaws Genuine Husqvarna Part OEM No. 503 25 52-01 I'd check clutch drum part number etc to confirm 350 in case someones mixed parts etc if don't know history of saw not the first time!
  19. How much wear on the rim sprocket and chain? Can see a fair bit of wear on it. As seem to remember think was on Chainsaw bars you tube and Robs says about badly worn rim sprockets causing burning with chain running wrong on bar? how healthy is the inside of plastic pump drive as i take it it fits over end of rim drive so is it picking up on there ok?
  20. has the bore of worm drive worn away then as looks like been plenty of movement!
  21. Hi it did make me wonder know have round right way as chain buffers are on inside over holes and did check on diagrams when ordering plus found some have spacers others don't so these are probably for when using the rescue bar cutter which has another bit on there also? so yes two lengths it looks like but not showing them? But soon chop them down a bit with some method Fein multi tool cuts them neatly! Or could get some nice Stainless steel ones right length even. Was looking at that cover on Flea bay £50 from oz/usa! I see you have left chain catcher on yours i thought the other bit roller gadget replaced it as says chain catcher on packet from Stihl
  22. Well the clutch cover and bits arrived Question does the dog sit flush on the cover or do you need washers between them as the diagram has both at L&S If dont would you nib bolts down as look like perches for the birds to sit on!
  23. had the engine you'd have liked! the 16valve jobbie out of the BX 16v Stihl made the inlet manifolds! had there name on the castings! and they are twin plenum chambers so twin throttle bodies and nice 8 branch tubular exhaust manifold. Friend whose Garage i did work for said They only wanted wheels back car was on floor as had been sitting pipes had corroded so was scrap! saw engine and thought mmmm cash there got it out and sold on the dot to Burtons near Ilford Essex they use head and bits on 205's getting a lot of grunt! Had the 1.9 205 alloy wheels on my old Zanty pretty sure they had been for Group N cars had the Speedline stickers on them and was White and everyone has said never known them in white OE! but they used them on Group N in White! Don't think on Group A though? but maybe as was tough ole rims so had been heat treated unlike Johnny go Faster TSW etc soggy noodle wheels that break/bend before touch kerb! Never thought of Electric oil and water pumps? Looks ok have you seen the pug at Nürburgring monstered the track but did run on limiter on some straights. I built my own road version ford sierra was a J reg Sapphire 1.8 which stripped out and stuck 2 litre pinto in was 205 blocked injection same block as 3 door cossies, rewired whole car had to convert looms as different years and body shapes plumbed injection system in and it was funny as anything that was on say left on 1.8 was on right with pinto! L&B flywheel ultra short shift steel gear shift.Poly bushed throughout braided hoses Janspeed 4.2.1 manifold and Sportex system discs all round had the cossie conversion on fronts.Gaz adjustable shocks.Had light green injectors which didnt show for that engine so think had been uprated? later had head off and polished and ported it with cam kit and adjustable vernier. Chased a well set up 309? or 205 got chatting to guy later he was going he did rallying i was miles back round the lanes he was worried thought plod. Had 1.8 on rear still but didnt sound like one was amusing when scampered up the road. That was up in north yorks chased it back from Leeds across to Harrogate to west side up over moors heading pennypot army camp way turned rear discs blue! but car could get it to do whatever you liked handled like a Kart so precise but funny got into friends new Ranger felt like a barge as sloppy in comparison.
  24. you can mount things in/on plastic etc quite securely just use a splayed metal insert then mounting bolt is held in that Can use things like rivet nuts and had like collapsible inserts that worked on plastic bumper ware for two up two down spotlight brackets in sierra the other one can get is a threaded insert that bites into plastics and won't come out
