  9. They have a Carb Factory in China for Stihl/husky.
  10. Those Scam ones are mostly by pikeys in vans did/do same with power tools. You wanna buy some Makita mister? They sold Makita.Dewalt and more but was Nu Tool type gear. Mind many say about Copy stuff! Remember when got lectured about Jap Crap! Funny most of there gear is better than Made in england! if it wasn't for them we'd still be riding BSA Bantams but might have changed colour by now! We make JCB trash way over rated poorly made plus lots is Chinese parts also. We had a brand new 360 first day Urinated it's hydraulic fluid all over the floor hire co's fitter had to do open heart surgery on xmas eve and said very common as connections not done up tight. and even after still had issues. We bought a Kubota be great knocks JCB into a cocked hat! Was watching vid on you tube guy was picking up a brand new 9tonne 360 commented on them then once JCB guy had loaded it and chaining down found it Urinating all it's coolant! Guy i know up road that drives machines was talking to last night about them said they had a new JCB machine in big one first day blew turbo unit up £5k repair job!
  11. The FarmerTec etc are real saws many are finding ok and Genuine Stihl isn't always the greatest thing since sliced Bread! How many Pigs have they made? Be it saws or Strimmers also toys ive a pair of Heavy duty cutters the fixing bolt they hinge on isn't long enough to reach the nylon part in the nylock nut! and can't get the bump rubber which stops them over closing! Stihl litre bottles of blue 2 stroke oil can't close top down properly to stop it leaking as just a soft threaded part of bottle so leaks everywhere and your only using a tiny amount each time so bottle needs to last a fair while! yet Chain oil which you most likely use in one has a proper plastic bottle! Go Figure!
  12. And Husky both got into bed with the Choogie Devils!
  13. Watched how they made Damascus blades while back
  14. You do not want a splitting axe to be really sharp. Yes most likely because i don't require a splitting Axe! it's for Clearing branches off whacking wedge etc and not so clumsy as a felling axe!
  15. Hi what do they hold there edge like?
  16. Hi what sizes/weights/Types/Brands are recommended? Was looking at an Adler 1.25kg 700mm it's for sort of thing like cleaning bits off likes of Conifers. Have an Estwing Hatchet Thing which is good sharp as F cuts well also have a 4lb felling axe but handles bit long for close quarters combat! So the 700mm handle looked to me a bit more suitable between short and felling axe length. Found in 1250g and 1600g
  17. But if you had said that in first place any could have directed you and no one is having a go but many on here have seen types come in with not only no idea but also dangerous methods! So learn correct terms/applications/fittings along with maintenance so stay safe stay alive. When your talking about Pitch all three need to be right but when your talking about Gauge only bar and chain have to match if pitch stays the same 325. I have same set up but also now have 0.50 bar and chain. With chain on bar have back nut loose front one nipped if has two? rest nose of bar on something so kept up so front part of saw is off the ground ie pivoting in middle with brake off release front nut so bar can move! then adjust chain so just hangs in middle of underside of bar(can see part of the pick up teeth but not all!)then nip nuts up enough so won't move then glide chain through checking for tight/loose spots and if free on sprocket and bar(Does happen had a new sprocket that was faulty would keep catching every so often)once happy tight front one up check again then do back one to working tight. Then put brake back on! Reason you keep nose up it's best chain line! When you run with chain on and away from others/danger! is the chain is the load so if no chain you have no load so RPM limits would be false. But like most things only as safe as the Operator!
  18. Yep easy to cut off but not so easy to stitch back on!?
  19. So what is the Pitch of the Chain-Bar--Sprocket? as i guess way to speak of it that it isn't a hub sprocket? but the slide on ring type with slots round outside. Sprockets also need changing as wear/replace chains also. there not a fit and forget item just like the roller bearing also.
  20. But sprockets don't come in 0.58 0.58 is the Gauge ie width .sprockets need to be right for the Pitch of chain(Distance between pick up teeth on chain)
  21. Need to grease that roller bearing before reinstalling it's a regular needed thing also. The rim sprocket makes Naff all to do with 0.50-0.58-0.63 etc as there Kerf ie thickness of chain and teeth along with slot in bar. But what the rim sprocket does make heel of a difference is is with the gauge ie distance between each pick up tooth on chain so it has to match chain type be it 325 3/8 or the any of the others. If you look on sprocket you removed it should be marked/stamped the Gauge also should be marked on bar length.Gauge and pitch ie 15"/38.325.0.58". if bars 0.50 won't run with a .58 chain as that's thicker so will bind on bar.like wise if 0.58 bar 0.50 will cause issues as chain will flop and run at angles. Get the right parts for the job or take it somewhere that does as you sound like an Accident just waiting to happen? Chainsaws do not take Prisoners just hands/limbs even heads along with torsos so be warned. That washer goes in before drum it runs over oil pump
  22. Don't have one it's an outboard clutch hence it's unscrewed itself and clutch type is an outboard type with that spring
  23. I'd Wash your hands well if going to Play with your Balls on a Rainy day if been handling Chain Oil???
