  1. Horrible looking staircase to me.You have a period oak feature in photo 1 and they go and stick a modern looking half steel-half wood with a clean cut look (yuk) ? Just my own opinion mind. That room is screaming out for a semi modern rustic looking oak staircase. Anyone else think the one there now is bland looking and by the looks that is 2k plus
  2. For all his nonsense and his constant need to lock horns with every tom-dick and harry he is quite a tidy bloke for a jock i suppose. The fact someone likes or dislikes a certain style has no bearing what so ever on a bespoke made item.We all like different styles/looks/shapes/colours ect ect.
  3. I have a few iron girders knocking about in the yard. Will have to see what one can come up with and join in with the apple and oranges gang on here
  4. That is trigger and his RSJ table then ?
  5. Are you a man or a mouse. What bar are you using on it to mill ?
  6. For a climber full time ? (Shocking) Pay my extra pair of £75 notes a shift 7 hrs
  7. The photos are from the top section of the tree and only shows what is coming. The main trunk is over 44" wide and 4 metres long.Tree is well over 300 yeas + and they will be stunning as i know the shape the features will show. No RSJs for table legs down here in gods country. Certain scottish chap spends to much time as sea which makes him think outside the box i suppose ? Livings on those steal platform rigs bound to have an effect on ones mind ? Mr Johnsonds headboard ?? Not been on much of late.
  8. Couple of photos of the big Olive ash tree that was posted about on here a while back.Really will be stunning slabs when completed and top joinery grade so have a few projects in mind. Will be some nice tables but without the RSJ legs support a certain scottish chap used even though it did look nice.
  9. Higher than that surly. Must be in excess of a £100 each plus removing material costings is extra.
  10. You only using an alaskan type mill then of have you a logosol farmers/m8 type to ?
  11. Nah no need for an 880 as the 660 is big enough. Much difference between the 661 and 880 then ??
  12. Gay sex ! I thought you batted for the other side and you the taker i suppose ?? ? Not for me is that as i like the slice ?
  13. That is all in conor yes ?
  14. The one on the bay new is £1850 Thought around £1200 was the top end but i must be way out.
  15. What is the normal price on them from a dealer ?
  16. Steptoe and son comes to mind here
  17. So anyone will just phone up and ask will they ? Just put the correct info so people can see it I am in south wales but would not expect someone from over an hour away to contact me unless stated. Not rocket science is it ?
  18. Why do you first time posters never put what area in the uk you require someone. Anyone looking at this are not mind readers are they.
  19. Must have had a visit off the fairies during the night ?
  20. Unless your the hulk and the winch is made of Kryptonite you got no chance.Do you know how far that will be rooted in ? Easier to get fleas of a dog
  21. Drill some deep holes in the stump and dynamite it. Blow it to kingdom come
  22. Why not just burn the stump out or stump grinder but that will cost you and you seem up for having a go at removing it.
  23. Pretty much the same saw the os 31 as the woodlands 130. Same engine, bed setup is close and far more support for the woodlands on parts and support.2/3 days delivery direct from sweden but to be fair i have not even come across the fromtier in the flesh.
  24. My mate chris is a woodlands dealer based in pontyypool south wales. He has said to me many times that the biggest regret from people who get the 126 was not going for the 130 model.I have used them all and wood not go the 126 route myself as hardly anything in it overall and you have the bigger cutting option.
