  8. This is what we do as advised by euro forest 3 years ago when looking into buying diseased timber. (trees)

I gone a licence which allows us to burn any waste when milling
  10. Timber is unaffected but need to burn any waste (bark/leaves ect) to comply with handling affected trees.
  11. Depends on the size of the body and yes it will hold a lot more than a transit.1-1/2 ton on a transit as apposed to 3-3 1/2 on a 7.5 ton depending on what type of body again. Mate has an aluminium one on his and is legal at 4 ton carrying weight.If you have a hiab it will count toward the 7.5 ton so less carrying weight.
  12. Sounds like its the wrong chain for the saw mark.Run the chain arround the nose of the bar and the sprocket and see if the teeth fit correctly.

Spouting shit trigger.Thomas asked about sharpening so had a couple of hours with him this afternoon showing my autistic son woodwork.Funny will posted yesterday for someone to mill a big oak up and i will end up doing it.He posted over a year ago asking for work down around abergavenny as his girlfriend was from there and guess what, Working full time with a mates brother who i put him in touch with and living down here loving the life style, What have you done Except argue the toss with everyone.I have helped bought and sold over 15 mills for forum members in that time also Go and self isolate somewhere now JR TRIGGER ?

  24. I have not seen quality in such detail on ash since i was in the joinery shop 30 years ago and that was very rare.Timber has a market value and that is how its priced. Rest will be milled this week and then in the kiln to dry down to 10% which adds the value.
