  1. Fecking brilliant
  2. £2500 shipping costs and no parts available for weeks if possible,Are you for real ???You cannot even try and test the thing.
  3. 25-1 is fine but why the hell you bought a 30+ year old saw beats me
  4. And how the hell would you get parts for it after a couple of years
  5. Are you a man or a mouse matty ?????????????????????????????????????????????
  6. Still good firewood which is what was asked.I use only use the outside of the trunk as mill any other stuff so cannot comment on the processing side so to speak
  7. larch is good when fully seasoned for sure
  8. Massive difference using a milling bar and this one below is from chainsaw bars with 3 milling chains for your saw 28"(71cm)GB Chainsaw Bar Parker 62cc + x3 Ripping Chains 325 058 102 d/l
  9. What area are you anthony as if near me i will be happy to let you see my setup and even try it.
  10. That saw is 30 odd years old so glad its not me using it ?84cc
  11. The bar is designed for milling unlike the normal ones. This one fit your saw ? 28"(71cm)GB Chainsaw Bar Parker 62cc + x3 Ripping Chains 325 058 102 d/l
  12. That mill will be fine but you will struggle using a normal chain and bar as its not designed for ripping. The ebay mill is fine.
  13. Good luck
  14. I had a 3cx as my first machine but found it slow and bulky
  15. No one mention redundancy if things go quiet or a change in circumstances ?
  16. Tend to agree but 2 ways to look at it.If tuscan phill uses a saw him self and can cut a foot off the end of the longest stuff it will give an idea how bad the tree is and the 17 metre one i would split in 3 anyway. If he is cutting up the stuff for firewood or paying someone to do it also makes a difference.
  17. I have the kit to mill that in place but looking from the photos you would need to put the cost of getting them milled against the cost of buying the same timber new as the age on those first few would suggest rot has started to set in.
  18. Got any bigger than 18" on the oak ?
  19. Why is that a silly question as bristol is only a good hour or two from you.
  20. Your just a time waster playing at it.
  21. Just off the bay bob but is a tree surgeon
  22. Be slabbing again next week with the logosol M7 and will do
  23. Yes 25/1 oil as recommended bob.The guy who sells them keeps around 2/3 saws (different models) in stock and rest takes a few weeks to get send over.
  24. Would not hesitate to get a second one or the bigger models.Handles a 36" ripping bar and chain with ease and tons of power
  25. Hold their money to once running nice.Tend to be ex military or fire service they come from
