Go traditional then and half lap joints at the corners and could use inch dowel as you drop each beam on top of each other to lock in the middle sections . Make up a jig if you go that route.Are these external walls or internal ?

That may have been imported but why would you buy a second hand mill at around 2k which you can never get parts for and you will need to in time. If you stick to the woodlands you will get parts off the shelf and will do for years to come. Best advise is to look at the 122 model and you will not be far away on 2k for a second hand one if you can find one. Like pulling teeth with you posting this and that. Hudson have never imported to the uk to my knowledge as the safety side does not meet the eu regs so your on a hiding to nothing there.
