Is the lean increasing then or are they just worried that it might go? Looking at the decay in the base I would be concerned. I'm interested in what current best practice is, tree prop seems like it might have a similar effect to rigid tie bars in bracing which are no longer fitted as they take the natural movement away

Some people honestly don't mind the brown. I did this to a hedge in the summer, the customer was over the moon as she hates conifers nearly as much as she hates the neighbours.

Not grey really, you have to get your licence out and check if it's still on there as I know a few for whom it's been dropped off without asking when they changed address etc. If it's there, you can, if not, you can't.

Are you just looking for hedge laying or other ground work as well? I'm 45 miles from Grantham and could use help now and then but can't offer a "proper" job.

What tyres are people running on their pickups

Keep wondering what to put on my defender next, but still have tubes in the tyres which I think makes it complicated? Or can I just put them on with tubes in? -
As Rough says, don't file too much off. Oregon do a 3/16" kit for .325 chains, can't go far wrong with that.

There is an SSSI wood near us, where several blocks were cleared and planted with conifers by the FC. The policy has been to clear blocks and let nature take its course, but there are plenty of trees around the blocks to spread. What is outside your conifers?

Short answer, yes. You sort of need to use a portawrap to see the advantages of a fixed bollard, the thing with the P500 it's not too big so it's easy to set up. I was pointed to it by the guy assessing my CS41, it's also what he had in his truck bought with his own money.

I guess if there's enough sap and dirt in the pivots then it won't spring up, same as a biner. Then it would get stuck in 'down' mode. I think it's disappointing that this was a poor example, because the idea of the AA sharing incident and accident reports would be a positive way to improve safety in the industry. -
I think it's important the end of the wire doesn't ground on anything metal, but this should be on the HT lead so not a problem. I would think they don't want it touching the engine in case the insulation melts, it's not critical if it's touching other parts.

What you suggest makes an amount of sense that tipping more weight makes the pump draw more current, the obvious question is what fuse was on the old truck? Maybe it's already gone though?

Well the SU's on my Spitfire are still fine and over 40 years old. Not a good towing vehicle though.

The Eliet and Bugnot are shredders, I just spotted that Bugnot have some PTO versions which might be a bit less pricey. Otherwise Greenmech seem to have a chipper/shredder the EcoCombi with two infeeds, which is probably a bit more useful in reality.

I was driving along the other day thinking about this - new things are often trouble in automotive but gradually bugs get ironed out and they become normal and reliable. I remember my dad had a Triumph 2.5PI, as was common practice he took off the fuel injection and put SU carbs on as fuel injection was unreliable.

Seems too obvious but take off and count the old one? Chainsawbars as above has some diagrams of how the links, pitch, gauge etc are defined.

I am also tall, found Arbortec and Pfanner have long leg option. Breatheflex Pro are just above your budget, I reckon they are worth the bit extra as they're more durable than basic Breatheflex. Ideally you need to try them on, depends where you are of course.
