  1. Total agree. The same goes for rugby. When I happen to be watching footy or Rugby and there’s a woman commentating I turn the sound down. My misses says I’m a misona? misojoni? misagest? A bloody Wanker!
  2. Thought you ha It’s coming BigJ, reports here of lots of snow in Northern Sweden? Get your Nordic skis waxed up, it’ll be time to hang up your bike clips for the winter🤔
  3. With a check shirt, pkt of Marlboro in top pocket and the biggest pair of dogs you can find😳. Anybody got tips for my old lady to get cheap gooey black chain oil off brushed cotton check🤔
  4. If your carrying a saw uphill in brambles with plate facing forwards your going to catch brambles and the ground anyway? Carry it with rear handle facing forwards🤔
  5. Silly boy, there never was a 2nd dog🙄
  6. Silver Back, sounds like you need to PM cjw89 🤔
  7. Not in my wife’s case? No it doesn’t. Your right.
  8. My 78 year old granny does her own mowing, plants up her own flower borders, plant a few short rows of spuds and other veg crops. Trims a small privet hedge with hand clippers🤔. Does that make her a Horticulturalist🤔. When I said did she want a shot at being an arborist she told me to “F off”! Ya grandad can though?
  9. Tried Northern Arb, took months to turn around and I think they only returned them when they got to the end of the “book of Great Excuses”. Now use Kennedy Grinding from Craven Arms, Shropshire. I think they are now part of a bigger organisation with a few depots across the UK.
  10. Wouldn’t be of much use to me as I don’t carry a spare tyre to work or have a spare at home anyway, only have them on a rim ready to go.
  11. Fair one, most of these yuppy breads and wraps taste like cardboard or a wet newspaper anyway!
  12. In some parts of these Isles your rolls would be call Pita bread now so could still be eaten? Coming from north of the border I bet you still ate then anyway😂
  13. In all fairness that cup still looks like a cup despite being run over by half the total weight of the chipper? Does it still hold fluid? If it does it could possibly still outlast the Forst with their reputation, bit like Top Gears Hilux🤔
  14. The problem with these pickup manufacturers is they try and make it comparable to the LR Defender and as far as the rust issue goes they’ve got it bang on🤔
  15. Just seen this, cracking video JDon👍
  16. Now there’s a sound business model right there, something to aspire to🤔
  17. Looks like you get a good view of the action with the cab where it is and lower arm behind you?
  18. Eco plug stump, birch won’t take long to rot away. If you want a quick result and can’t wait for result bring in a stump grinder.
  19. You need to get the worldly wise tree surgeon with the Midas touch back and ask for a price to get the tree on the ground, all non valuable wood, small branches and rotten wood cleared from site. And ask him what the remaining wood is worth and whether he’s prepared to buy it? You will then be in a position to see if there’s money to be made. Either way that tree needs to come down?
  20. Spider will probably give you the best max slope angle due to the cranked legs. Your best not to set it up on a sloping hard surface because the platform could slip and throw sensors out. Best to dig out and level all leg pads which would be obviously a non starter on a drive? Unless you can set legs either side of a drive onto the garden?
  21. As I started reading this is what I thought. Just the heat would do it, but if you say unlikely where it is🤔. The phot is one I did few weeks ago, no burn marks, bark on lower trunk and large limbs has popped. Fire was 4 years ago. Healthy tree before fire which was 30 mts away but intense.
  22. I know they’re overworked and there could be a long wait Joe but if that happens again you should consider a trip to A&E, neck swollen and itchy throat is heading into the danger zone😳
  23. Try a local agricultural dealer.
  24. Exactly this in my nearest town. Barbers(one hair style only!) next to a continental grocery shop(which very few people seem to shop in) with the local car wash guy visiting all premises. Continental grocers often visited by Customs and Excise but still operating. One big cash society(on paper). And not to mention the door in the back for the frustrated arborist with cash in his pocket😳 apparently?
  25. Where did I suggest that?
