  1. Hire a professional. But that is a horrible job. [emoji106]
  2. I've got a Stihl msa200 Yes the batteries are expensive... But think of it like this.... How much for 3 years worth of fuel and mix oil? Then realise it costs about 5pence to recharge the battery. It's like paying for all the fuel upfront with a massive discount. Not to mention the quietness of an electric motor compared to a petrol one. Then there's no exhaust fumes as well, so it can be used indoors safely. And finally it's a big middle finger to the oil/petrol industry whilst being environmentally friendlier. [emoji16][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  3. Do you ever get the feeling you're not getting the point Andy? It's so much more mate. And you know exactly what I mean. You're a bright bloke Andy, I'd really like to sit down with you and a few others off here and have a face to face, preferably in a pub. I'm not very well educated as you may have guessed, But I read a lot of history. It teaches me that if you really want to make a change in the world you can. But there are many vested interests who oppose equality. Look at slavery as someone mentioned earlier.
  4. You extrapolated "google not working?" Into "are you suggesting eugenics?" ??? [emoji106]
  5. Part a, I agree, except for nepotism. Part b, I agree, because of a.

    New Saw Advice

Personally I would buy a Saw with side tensioner. [emoji106]
  16. Hmrc fucked up my tax returns. My bank won't give me a bounce back loan either. Forecast is bleak.
  17. I used 10-12" Sitka on my last log bed. It bent but didn't break. Used Sitka 2x6" and 4" square legs on my milling table inside the Logosol for taking shock loads. 1.5 tons sitting broke it. Logosol was fine[emoji16] My next log bed will be 6x10" oak, with 10" square legs [emoji13][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  18. I charge full day or sometimes a half day. Never an hourly rate. [emoji106]

  23. Odd. Is there any videos on YouTube or instructions? If not I'd go with Andy suggestion and grind em off. [emoji106]
  24. Stihl yard cant hook is good, much better than a felling lever. If you're doing big logs get an 8' piece of scaffold too. [emoji106]
