  1. When your family starts dying, people may take this more seriously.
  2. What's worth £150 on that Saw? You know the piston and pot have gone, carbs shagged, and it's missing parts. £20?
  3. Doh. Mines fresh cut. [emoji849]
  4. I'd be interested in the 084 [emoji106]
  5. Not a problem, I'm in Huddersfield. Where are you based? [emoji106]
  6. Went to screwfix to get some steel toe capped work boots for days off. Just outside there's a duck in the middle of the road, and a guy with a shoebox full of chicks looking distressed. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  7. Elm yes I agree. Oak is a different story though. So much European competition. I can buy 5m burred oak standing in France for 50-100 euros a pop. Cheap imports are what has ruined British forestry and Saw milling.
  8. What! J?!?!?! You seriously think anyone will pay 2.5k for a log like that. 1-1.5 is generous. I mill and sell logs like that regularly. Got offered one yesterday at £1300. 4'+ dbh and more burrs. Turned it down as it is in Southampton. Sadly this why so many logs get ringed. Do I really need to post the black walnut video again?
  9. I'd be interested in buying that. Please give me a call. 07376803384 Saul
  10. From the photos... It's firewood. Nasty stuff too. You'd have to pay me to take it away. You won't get £40 per cubic foot. No one is that stupid. £40 a cubic metre you're still onto a winner.
  11. Could you be more specific? Green, air dried, kiln dried, British or European Standing or milled? [emoji106]
  12. Nearly...[emoji6][emoji106] The 070 and the 090 both use 3002 mounts.
  13. For that Saw standard 3/8 pitch chain. Your sprocket is correct. The bar and chain you should sell. Get the right bar 3003 mount 36" ,3/8 chain
  14. Hmmmmm It'll run a 36" bar full compliment full chisel all day. Even milling. Solid Saw. But the av is crap.
  15. This is all wrong. The 064 takes a 3003 mount. The 3005 is domestic small saws. You've probably got a 3002 mount on that bar. So it's the wrong one. 3002 is for 880. The first four numbers on the 11 digit serial code
  16. On YouTube last night an advert popped up for a Bosch carbide oscillating cutter. A guy in a hard hat goes up to a shipping container whose doors are chained up and a big bar through it. Cuts it off effortlessly. Opens container... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't effing believe it.
  17. Take it down before it comes down.
  18. Cut the top off just above the railings. Make vertical bore cuts down the pith with a big bar. Remove crud. Bore cut a square hole from side. Remove wood. Fill with kindling and light. When going well, add coal down the top. [emoji106]
  19. Let's say on average you use only 1 gallon of fuel mix a week at £6. That's £300 a year or £900 Over 3 years. 10 charges a week at 5p a charge is 50p a week, £25 a year or £75 over 3 years. In 3 years the fuel savings alone pay for the Saw... (And 2 expensive batteries) Not to mention the health and environmental benefits. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  20. Yep. Everyone poo poos them, Until I give them a go on mine. Takes about 3 cuts before they say oooh it does cut really well, (with surprise). [emoji106]
