  1. You’re not wrong. But I’d still rather have a few bent beaurocrats than the Russian state.
  2. Doesn’t anyone else see the immense stupidity and naive arrogance of brexit? What do you think the Russians think about the breakup of the EU?
  3. What? Aileen got in saw work? [emoji6][emoji106]
  4. When my daughter was young I looked for ages to get some wooden blocks. All were made using dubious wood and colourings. So I just made a few cubes, rectangles triangles, arches and circles out of 1” oak and sanded the edges. They really worked well. Indestructible teething toys, Stacking towers Unicorn pen Etc. Simple natural and fun. [emoji106]
  5. Get the stihl battery saw. They’re a really good little saw. Never need to buy petrol, No exhaust, low sound and vibrations, can use it indoors, and outdoors without annoying the neighbours. Etc. [emoji106]
  6. Holy ****!!! Is that photo real? [emoji848]
  7. You’ve got a knackered Chinese chainsaw leaking chain oil out the crankcase and the clutch cover? It’s dead buddy.
  8. Not much experience with automatics. But I worked for a group who had a brand new custom 7.5t custom transit tipper, pulled bandit 990/925?!?(very big). 11 ton train weight. Automatic. It was a nightmare. It was either screaming or trying to stall itself on the Yorkshire hills. Couldn’t select the correct gear for toffee. Should probably try one sometime as my transit has new clutch every year... [emoji848]🤣[emoji106]
  9. You’ve been quoted $8000? To fell one tree? That leans away from the house. With no other targets? And you’ve trimmed the back branches off? I’m confused...... Are you a qualified tree climber? Why have you not continued to dismantle the tree?
  10. Honestly..... Sell it. Get a new saw. Miles better. [emoji106]
  11. It appears part of your blade is missing [emoji106]
  12. Or even easier... Phone stihl GB, Ask to speak to the technical department. Explain your situation and ask if they’ve got the correct parts? They have tons of old stock for old saws. [emoji106]
  13. The 051,075 and 076 are all the same saw with tiny differences. 051 90cc 075/76 111cc You should be able to interchange nearly all the parts. There are IPLs on tinter web. Are you cross cutting/felling with it? As these older machines do tend to undo their nuts when running. (And clutch) [emoji106]
  14. Looks like you’ve weighted it away from the cabin. Leave a slightly thicker hinge. Make sure the back cut is level with front cut. Knock a couple of high lifts in. If you’re worried about barbers chairs, ratchet strap at 2’ above cut. And cut as low as you can. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  15. Another school day[emoji106]
  16. Next mill size up! A 42” bar gives 30”-36” max cut. Great for small to medium logs with the 660/1. If you’re getting an 881, you could get a 60-72” Bar on a 60” panther mill with 48/50” cutting ability? Cut very large slabs? [emoji848]🤣[emoji106]
  17. Time to upgrade? [emoji848]🤣[emoji106]
  18. Yiu do know the 881 has a 3002 mount, Not a 3003 mount like a 660/661? [emoji106]
  19. I bought a Leborgne about 12 years ago. It’s my favourite. Holds an edge like nothing else [emoji106]
  20. If I remember correctly, it’s the same as the 880. [emoji106]
