  1. From what I've read and been told from guys off-shore is the infrastructure is far better in Sweden so Electricity generated in the North of Norway is not readily available in the South of Norway, so the Electricity actually transfers over to Northern Sweden and down to Southern Sweden then back to Southern Norway. Hence why the North of Norway has enjoyed continual cheap Electricity Prices but the South has been exposed to the highly fluctuating prices on the open market. Electricity rates hit new high - Norway's News in English — www.newsinenglish.no WWW.NEWSINENGLISH.NO Residents of southwestern Norway had to brace for their highest electricity rates ever on Thursday, while their fellow Norwegians in the central and northern regions of the country... The article above makes more of an emphasis on the lack of rain in the South of Norway but does highlight the fact its near on impossible to transport the electricity south due to the current infrastructure. The article below highlights what Im refering to though. Energy in north Norway is considerably cheaper than in the south, where price records have been broken throughout the summer. Sweden imports cheap energy from north Norway into north Sweden before moving it south and exporting it to south Norway. Just a moment... WWW.THELOCAL.NO
  2. At best thats 3 tons. Id have said two initially. Three loads will not remotely make 20t.
  3. I work with Norwegians who say in the bad months recently they have had to pay about £500-£600 a month. (Bloody Brexit)
  4. I thought Sweden imported a lot of Electricity from the north of Norway?
  5. We go through a similar amount. We have a 11kw Esse in the kitchen so it does all the hotwater, 1 radiator and the cooking and obviously heats the kitchen plus a 10kw in the living room. Bother are generally on from 07:00-22:00 or later if we're up more.
  6. Then ask for a tenner or even £12 each, the worse they can say is no.
  7. 10' away is nothing. The top of the Cowl is 2' about the Ridge?
  8. That looks to be significantly below the Ridge of the building behind. Optical illusion?
  9. I believe Øyo is a relatively cheap and massed produced brand you find in such stores as XXL in Norway. I have their Viking Axe as I like the look of it and its supposedly a reproduction of one found in a Burial Mound but the workmanship is trash. Øyo Viking 2000 øks - none - Øks og sag | XXL WWW.XXL.NO Les mer om Viking 2000 øks. Trygg handel med prisgaranti og 100 dagers åpent kjøp As others have mentioned get a Gransfors Bruk, far better quality and can be found in the UK. Or if asthetics in not your main concern then get a Fiskars.
  10. Always impressed to see your work. Well Im really surprised that 2HP can cut as well and as wide as that.
  11. Two HP? Are you cutting kindling?
  12. Still the 22t Towable Petrol Splitter.
  13. Im charging £30 a cubic foot for Larch and £15 a cube for other Softwood. That comes out at £6 a length for Redwood. Id simply not bother my arse for that so Id also want £10 each to make it worth my time. It really depends on how desperate you are for the sale. Not that fussed then a tenner each. Want the sale more than the customer does? £5-6 each.
  14. My opinion, and I freely admitted it from the outset was based of feedback from this website. Then I added personal experience from guys I work with that backed up what the feedback from this website lead me to believe. Namely; don’t run saws previously ran on pump gas with Aspen. If you wish to make the change then be prepared for extensive service parts replacement . If you’ve a new saw then by all means start it on Aspen. Have I got something wrong?
  15. Right, I believe that’s kinda what I said? Switching from petrol to the likes of Aspen will kill a saw that would have ran forever on petrol. But the blame is put on petrol “drying” 🙄 out the rubber components and only come to a head as soon as they switch to Aspen. 🙄The work around is replace every component or run Aspen from new. I work with guys that have done the swap and their saws are now in getting rebuilt. I know it’s anecdotal but Ive saws and other 2stroke tools that have been used intermittently for at least 20 years with no issues at all. Some that won’t start til I replace the mouse eaten primer bulb. Never had an issue with petrol, but Aspen would kill them. Folks should be aware of that. If I was to buy a new Saw now I’d consider Asen from the get go.
  16. Yeh, from what Ive read on here you can run you engine on Unleaded indefinitely but switching to Aspen will suddenly causes the issues you mention above. So don’t switch abd you’re good to keep running on Unleaded. Want to make the switch? Then it will kill your saw, but it’s the petrols fault, not Aspens. 🤣 So if you really want to get bent over the barrel and run Aspen then first change out everything you suggest and get bent over twice. It’s a no from me.
  17. I only put Premium in any of my tools or engines older than 10 years old now. Simply not worth the degradation of E10. Or the hassle of going over to Aspen for it to kill your saw and be told it was the years of running regular fuel that did it.
  18. Interesting at they managed to sneak it all past customs.
  19. The EU all but begged the U.K. to remain in the EU at every possible turn. All out of altruism, right? I’ll agree the current government and the opposition are absolutely diabolical. From within for personal and political gains Brexit has been thwarted at every possible step.
  20. And how did the Polls read leading up to the Brexit vote? Remain 55% and Leave 45% How did the Polls read leading up to the Trump V Clinton Election? Polls are useless cherry picked guesswork and generally as impartial as our new member here.
  21. Promptly evicted? 🤣 Now there’s a laugh.
  22. I and others have literally done so over a number of posts during the last few days. Should you chose to randomly smash the keyboard and insert random quotes instead is on you. How about instead of your insistence on pointedly ignoring them FTFU and reply to them with some constructive criticism instead of blindly insisting on being the Impartial Remoner Man who posts quotes from other peoples posts without explanation.
  23. He does that a lot. It’s very odd. But then he is the “Impartial Remoaner Man”. 😁
  24. It’s certainly not the conversations I have had with people from different walks of life. When the aftermath of Covid and Ukraine has settled down there is simply no reason why the U.K. could not flourish like Norway or Switzerland. Certainly not if those who are desperate to thwart Brexit being a success and give it up to the betterment of the U.K. We are going to be paying the debts of Covid for a generation at least. We’re digging ourselves deeper and deeper in unsustainable debt due to the supposed Energy Crisis fuelled by a large part on the EU’s insistence on relying on Russia for their Energy supplies. The previous American Administration made it abundantly clear this was a significantly bad idea, abd how these fools laughed at the time. Well they’re not laughing now are they? Yet someone those that despise Brexit still place the position we’re in firmly at its foot. 🤷‍♂️ You can’t fix stupid. I also find it amusing when the U.K’s response to purchasing and delivering Covid Vaccines was significantly faster than the dithering behemoth that is the EU. Countless lives where lost to this needless bureaucracy. Had it been the other way around the Remoaners would have been screeching from the rooftops about it. All we got was a murmured grumble that actually yes, being out of the EU saved British lives in this instance. The Remoaners will constantly ask for the benefits of Brexit and when presented with them will stare off vacantly into distance then after a while ask, why can’t anyone provide me a list of benefits for leaving the EU? Its a simple question. 🤷‍♂️
