  1. It’ll struggle with the cheese bit, plus the cornichons will blunt the chain.
  2. Wordle 1,014 5/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟨🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 @Canal Navvy I’m pretty sure I can guess your first word.
  3. I’ll post this question on a forum he frequents, might as well go to the source!
  4. How old are you?
  5. Bullshit. Cars, saws, TVs are better, more powerful and last longer than ever before
  6. True dat.
  7. The price on those 3M headsets made me gulp a bit.
  8. Back in 2020, when my nephew was out here working, he bought and fitted some cheap coms units, worked very well, then they died, and he left. So it was back to hand signals and shouting. My newest hired man (18years old) is very into the gear side of things so we’ve got this coming tomorrow. Seems to get good reviews on Amazon. I’ll let you know how they work out.
  9. Wordle 1,013 1/6 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Absolute fluke, probably give up now! On reflection, I’m sort of disappointed now, no skill and I don’t even get to play it. I did blurt the answer out to my wife, so I ruined it for her as well. So there was some pleasure from it.
  10. Wordle 1,012 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Not too bright this morning.
  11. I use polypropylene three strand for lighter rigging. Low abrasion, no glazing, light and cheap. Its insane that it’s not ok. I have no idea what that knot is btw.
  12. Three posts on the bounce justifying yourself. Sounds like the only person you’re trying to convince is you!

    Topical

How’s that working out for you?
  14. Is the Loler inspector correct in this? Any other inspectors can confirm that you cannot use this stuff?
  15. Hell of a thing that. Imagine driving over at the time, unthinkable.
  16. Wordle 1,011 5/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Today I started badly, had the luxury of leaving it and coming back as I cancelled work cos of the rain. The Sally one from yesterday was odd, you either knew the word or you didn’t.
  17. Ask about Voltarol, really helped me with acute pain. Sorry to hear of your fall, fell on my arse today dragging branches backwards. Going down I thought ‘this could be bad’ luckily no harm done. We’re not 18 anymore!
  18. What painkillers are you on? Voltarol was very effective I found in similar circumstances.
  19. Wordle 1,010 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩⬜⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Happy with that, 1 yellows starts are always a challenge.
  20. I’ll clarify. I’ve nothing against other 3.5 tonne tippers. However since 2001 I’ve had only 3 transits, they’ve run around, usually a fair bit overloaded, pulling a chipper, got me there, got me back, almost never let me down, reasonable economy. They have been my most consistent moneymaker. I just don’t know how I could improve on them with anything more powerful or more comfortable.
  21. I’ve no issues with the power, plenty enough, not discernibly more than the 2.4 but you don’t have to work the gears as much if you know what I mean. Long term reliability…I dunno, only done 3k, but there’s a warranty so fingers crossed.
  22. Then it’s much of a muchness. I’ve been pulling it backwards for many years, I know what you mean about the snagging though.
  23. Is it cos the worm drive that turns the oil pump only turns one way? Dunno really, just speculation.
  24. Running a tranny here, 3rd one in 24 years, reliable and cheap to run. love them.
