  1. I kept ferrets as a teenager, for rabbiting. A polecat called Conan and an albino called Danny (both cobs obvs)
  2. Wordle 1,030 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Getting a lot of bad starts lately, or getting thicker, possibly both.
  3. I will never not love ferrets. Those two look well cared for.
  4. Demoralising start there Doug.
  5. Wordle 1,029 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. Really? I’ve done it this morning (in 5) the answer is not a word you would start with. come clean!
  7. Yes, it’s a lot of moolah, but it looks inevitable that I’ll get one. I suppose they do fetch good money second hand, so when I retire in a few years there will be some money coming back on it. Thanks.
  8. Sorry to be boring @Mark Bolam but that’s a GRCS n’est pas@? How do you rate it? Thanks in advance, a fan.
  9. Sadly, it’s the fame you got!
  10. Wordle 1,027 6/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟨⬜🟨 ⬜🟩🟨🟨🟨 ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Got into a rut on this one, could not move back from what I thought it was. Nearly went full @sandspider
  11. I’m on three atm. Left it at home on the iPad. Will finish in 4 hopefully.
  12. More like Thuja to me. As for the log burner, I’ve never known a wood burn with less heat, you could get in the firebox with it wearing a jumper and still shiver.
  13. Looks like old swipes from a ditch clearance with a digger to me as well.
  14. Wordle 1,026 4/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Standard.
  15. I knew a guy, did up a car for resale, took it to the MOT centre with knackered shocks at the back but a new set in a box on the back seat. The tester knew and trusted the bloke asked him ‘you putting those shocks on yeah?’ Guy confirmed so the tester passed. Guy took the shocks back and got a refund, sold the car to a youngster. Youngsters dad checked the car out a few days later clocked the knackered shocks, checked the MOT, so reported to the fuzz. Long story short prosecuted, lost job etc.
  16. Wordle 1,025 4/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Decent effort after a 6 yesterday.
  17. Clutch springs, easily replaced.
  18. Seen a few just arriving or passing through. First week in April is normal for the first sightings here.
  19. Put it up on here when you sell it, would like a look at it.
  20. Human filth. Worse than the kiddy fiddlers, should be strung up by their privates and left to rot at the village limits as a warning to others. My blood is boiling here!
  21. Wordle 1,023 5/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Did the old ‘walk away from it and come back later’ thing. Got it in seconds upon my return.
  22. I never defended her policies, I said I dreamt of having sex with her in a thatched croft house on the Shetland islands whilst highland cattle watched us from the window, gently mooing. Is that so wrong?
  23. Ha ha!
