  1. Here's the chipper, very impressed, if there's any difference between this and the 220 I have it's not immediately obvious, maybe on the larger dimension wood it's a little slower but on crushing it's right up there. I got a phone call from the French Forst rep on the journey home who is going to bring an ST8 over to try. Be interested to try the Forst, there is a lot of love for it on here.
  2. Very enjoyable. Drove the 4 and a half hours north to Rennes to meet with Ty Korrigan to try out his new GM190 which impressed us greatly. Then he treated us to lunch with his crew before we dashed back for the weekend. Grabbed a group photo before departure
  3. Ok, fair enough. Look at selling the Mog, buying a 7.5 tonne truck and tow behind.
  4. Your expenses must be put into categories, like insurances or chainsaw repair. What seems high to your eyes? That would make it easier to offer tips on saving.
  5. It's only one page long. Do try before posting.
  6. Not under every circumstance, but yes, why not? This dogma about trees pre dating houses so must take precedence is nonsense, yet people trot it out on here as if it's some kind of cosmic law.
  7. Blunt, simplistic and frankly a bit stupid. Why are those trees THERE a necessity? That's up for debate.
  8. If I'm honest I'm with the homeowners on this one. Plant some trees elsewhere, I'd want the view.
  9. My selector fork.......forked up on my 300tdi. Commonplace apparently. Box out, chequebook out.
  10. I would have thought at that age you could do what you like, when you like. I've got some 1" diameter saplings on a bank near me that get tractor flailed a couple of times a year, always come back.
  11. You can already do that. Go to the main page with the list of threads, press or click on the paper clip that shows there are attachments, you will then get a list of photos posted on that thread.
  12. I have the same problem, it's better to use the Tapatalk app apparently.........whatever that is.
  13. Clients are a pita, better off without them, oh hold on....
  14. It would take an hour to do that reduction. As someone pointed out there's a pavement and a bench there, if a guy sat down there to eat his lunch he'd be there as long as any climber up the tree. Only in the public sector....
  15. Spent the day trying to do something, failed miserably. Watched a lot of football, rugby and cricket, dinner with the the in laws. Wine. The end.
  16. I don't understand the emotion personally, if you had to sell it because you were skint fair enough, but if you've upgraded and you've got a pocket full of folding for your old machine my emotion would be happiness. Happiest day of my life when I sold my LR, but that's a different story.
  17. Plus https://www.vocabulary.com/articles/chooseyourwords/prostate-prostrate/
  18. Being honest if I want to see ladies in the altogether there are many sites better than this.
  19. I remember that feeling from college 20 years ago, get past 15ft or so and your inner self says "Fall from here and you'll die, go back down" I just couldn't do it. Anyway on the second day I cycled to college and I said to myself all the way "If you don't do this you'll be pushing a barrow up a plank for the rest of your life, I'd rather die than do that" that day I pushed through, started to trust my gear and once you're through it's not easy, but easier.
