  1. Home in time for Loose Women then, perfect day!
  2. I must have misunderstood what the word "bulk" means then.
  3. How many people voted in total for each candidate?
  4. As an outside observer, I reckon you have got it, in fact you had it at post three:001_smile:
  5. That's real science there. Send that to The Royal Society.
  6. Mine's only a littl'un in comparison! Still impressive though, yesterday was a breeze compared what would have been a traffic controlled nightmare.
  7. Difficult to wriggle out of that one. Insurance job methinks, rotten luck.
  8. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/lounge/94071-biscuit-preferences.html More earnest biscuit talk here... I'm on ginger snaps again coincidentally.
  9. Some pics might help. Used a pulley for redirection.
  10. First day on the job today, pulling over some pops and a decent ash that were overhanging some power lines, road, house etc. Apart from a bit of an oops moment when the cable pulled itself out from the hook, luckily when we were dragging rather than felling. We bodged it up, got the trees over and fixed it easy enough at home, with some pics and advice from Calum at Rico. What I liked about it was its speed, so much safer on a tricky fell than my hydraulic landy winch. Pleased anyway.
  11. All this stuff about Charlie Chaplin films and the Statue of Liberty. Cut it down.
  12. Love fig rolls. Most "homemade" biscuits are grim. Impossible to tell the client though. I do a lot of work for the Dutch and they have a biscuit called a sturmwaffle or something. Bloody lovely!
  13. The Forst has a simple method for anvil replacement. Apparently, I've not done it yet!
  14. Probably. My comment was based on the guy's situation. As a start up business a kangoo is very cheap to buy, cheap to run, will pull a trailer and is great for running around quoting. So if after a year he finds it's going well, he can upgrade and flog it. He's not betting the farm on it though.
  15. Impressive. I know it's a half dead elm but still...
  16. Domino, that first picture of the avant, are you carrying that tree?
  17. I've noticed Dave, don't disappear altogether though:001_smile:
  18. Says the guy with 26000 posts:001_smile: I just like a little context.
