  1. Bigger the better obviously, but the GM130 and the TW160 get a lot of love on here.
  2. Ok thanks Al. I was looking at this, but if they’re shut they’re shut.
  3. Are they open today? Website says yes, no answer on the blower.
  4. Get a chipper, second hand or new, just get a chipper.
  5. Goes to show, sometimes when people ask ‘which one should I get’ the answer can be ‘ ’both are good’
  6. Do a poll Maria, what do you think should be the question?
  7. There were two threads sort of running in parallel, I think she was referring to the original one.
  8. Husky 550/560, I think he wanted something lighter Mark.
  9. It’s in ‘the lounge’ so it doesn’t have to be about trees. Although delivered in a joking/trolling manner, Matelot has raised an interesting thread about obesity, which is fair enough in my book.
  10. Put the butt in a bandit intimidator, see how keen he is to hold on then.
  11. This popped up on FB, worth a look.
  12. ‘gunt’ didn’t know that it had a name. but now it does....
  13. Not the only reason, but it’s a factor.
  14. Yep funny old world, poor people are fat, richer people are thin.
  15. Ouch indeed, it’s the unexpected that’ll get you, because of it's unexpectednessability.
  16. Arboristsdoitbetter on FB is the fountainhead of this nonsense, they don’t actually bother to print a T-shirt they impose the lettering on a stock photo of a plain shirt. Reading the comments it seems that people are lapping it up. These people are breeding.
  17. Ooooh, just in time for Christmas! So classy.
  18. Fat girls thin on the ground! Like it. Anyway, obesity. Fact is now food is cheaper relative to income than its ever been. When I was a lad (run for cover) our larder would start looking threadbare by the end of the week, we never went hungry but my father’s farm workers wages would not stretch to takeaways (didn’t really exist then anyway!) nothing noble about it, just the way it was. Very few of us had money for chips or burgers on the way home, so we had to wait for proper tea as it were. Couple that with kids not walking or riding bikes to school as much and you have a situation where each generation gets fatter and fatter. I feel sorry for them.
  19. If you’re right (and you do sound authoritative on the subject) Then some kind of evidence will be nice. But, every days a school day.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
