  1. Exactly, it’s called free speech. Listening to people does not mean agreeing with them. Do you only want to read and hear opinions you agree with?
  2. Thing is, these clickbait tidbits are also what feed these people’s careers, they’re part and parcel of the reality tv/minor celeb circus. If I want to listen to what people like a Trump, Sugar and K.Hopkins say, then I will, who dictates what and who we should listen to? Jez Hunt?
  3. Give it a really heavy reduction and if you’re feeling energetic kill all the grass underneath to the drip line and mulch. Worth a shot, I’ve hammered over aged or sickly looking willows to good effect.
  4. Happened across this photo yesterday, around 99/00, after the Ford P100 I bought this, the first of two red Hiluxs, this one is the non turbo, bit gutless by today’s standards. Vanity plate and BFGs, I’d really arrived!
  5. Figured it wouldn’t be long before we worked out what this thread was going to be about. Murph’s favourite subject...
  6. Sideshow Bob spotted on the A1.
  7. If they did I would have snapped them up!
  8. Hey Simon, good luck on your search. I’ve never seen any for sale at anything less than a king’s ransom.
  9. Should have finished this job today, but I took a gamble and lost on the weather. Started making a right mess as the rain wouldn’t stop, so came offsite. Win some/lose some. Anyway, new Multione 9.5 flexing its muscles.
  10. Good question. Purely from the posts I see here Kretzschmaria, Gannoderma, Innotus Hispidia, and H. Fungus seem to be key ones to identify. Lots on here know better than me of course.
  11. No, he’s not a teacher or youth leader or whatever.
  12. I don’t mind them, as long as, like the Queen and Phillip they work for the country. Nothing wrong with a bit of anachronism, the world is in too much of a hurry to assimilate and all be the same. They’re only one bad monarch from blowing it though.
  13. Not really, but not a hill I’m willing to die on.
  14. Me too, I have 3x201s and the battery Husky, they are all just back ups to the 2511. You still at it full time? There was talk of you going in more with your wife’s agency thingy.
  15. I was using the grey one because it was easier to clip the biner through. I rarely stow the saw, just slide the lanyard through my fingers after a cut and move around with it loose. (I know, just never got into the habit) Anyway one day I was sliding it through as usual and the grey loop broke and down it went. Luckily it speared into some wet earth, no damage. Great saw, very poky, Mark 1s were a bit fragile though.
  16. Yes, but the grey loop (which is for stowing the saw on your belt presumably) won’t hold the saws weight on its own (guess who lost one out of the tree!)
  17. Not as your primary attachement for the saw though? It’s not strong enough.
  18. Re. Your first paragraph. When you say easily matches in some areas and outperforms in others. What are these areas?
  19. Chopped in the 8.4 for a 9.5, not going to use it in anger till next week, but playing around in the yard confirms, it loves to lift!
  20. Maybe baby siths, they can be problematic, especially if you have more than one.
  21. Pomme de terre en robe des champs apparently, literally potato in its field dress. Rather charming I thought.
