  1. Looks like you did, threw in the towel and sloped off home early doors!
  2. Yes interesting that. Fury says that he overtrained and was underweight for the last fight. Ruiz shocked Joshua looking fat. Natural endurance seems to be inherent. Macgregor (not a boxer of course) looked completely exhausted against Leonard after a couple of rounds, despite a lot of training, certainly looked in shape.
  3. 90s are ok with a load of chip, ok with a chipper behind. But with both you’re an embarrassment!
  4. Bear in mind, I’m pissed and I left the Uk in 2005. Apart from that, I know what I’m talking about.
  5. Yes Kriss, If you land the work, you’ll find the workers. There’s a steady stream of young climbers/workers being trained, desperate for experience.
  6. I hear you Don, but 90% of stuff that goes on is well within the skill set of most 4/5 year climbers. The really tricky/big stuff has big money on it where the guy who’s name is on the quote has enough fat on on it to pay for highly experienced climber.
  7. Plenty more where they Not staff, freelance climbers, never ending supply of them. Get some of your own work, then you’ve something to fall back on.
  8. Won’t work, they’ll bin you off and get someone else.
  9. Subbing is ok, but you’re opening yourself up to this sort of situation. It’s a good way to learn how to bring home the tough jobs, however you’re putting yourself completely in the hands of others. Start your own business, paddle your own canoe, that’s the bones of it.
  10. You can remove them without too much bother for a really good clean.
  11. No worries madam, we’ll throw a bit of grass seed on it, in a couple of weeks you won’t notice the difference.
  12. It’s a knockabout, meaning not rotating hydraulics, and it need replacing tbh, bit bent up! Multione now offer a rotating grapple which I will order once the bank account recovers a bit if you know what I mean!
  13. Yes it is the new one and I believe it’s a grapple, though opinions vary.
  14. Second day of a three day job, loads of fir, nothing enormous but tall enough. Bit of felling, bit of climbing, bit of hydraulics. Chip gets blown onto the ground and spread round the woodland paths, timber lorry takes the wood. Just wish the rain would take a holiday!
  15. New one on me but worth a shot I suppose.
  16. See these a fair bit over here, The roofers dream machine.
  17. Understood, I hate having to put the harness back on to repair stuff broken after a fell. Especially when you think you’ve put it away for the day.
  18. Crappy weather for it. Weren’t going to chance doing it in a oner then?
  19. You won’t get charged much more for taking it out completely compared to reducing it.
  20. Exactly, it’s called free speech. Listening to people does not mean agreeing with them. Do you only want to read and hear opinions you agree with?
  21. Thing is, these clickbait tidbits are also what feed these people’s careers, they’re part and parcel of the reality tv/minor celeb circus. If I want to listen to what people like a Trump, Sugar and K.Hopkins say, then I will, who dictates what and who we should listen to? Jez Hunt?
  22. Give it a really heavy reduction and if you’re feeling energetic kill all the grass underneath to the drip line and mulch. Worth a shot, I’ve hammered over aged or sickly looking willows to good effect.
