  1. I had to replace a pair of blades on a Ducker the other day due to one being cracked. Machine is in affect a TP 150 and were £120 each plus vat.
  2. Seen a handful being towed around by SSE. Not sure if they are owned or on test from TW
  3. Personally I'd steer clear unless it's a family car and you tow say a boat twice a year. Had one come with my new Isuzu DMax couple of years ago. Came loose on me twice so had a proper one fitted. Was towing couple of thousand miles a month though.
  4. Just put one on our service van which is a Vauxhall Vivaro. £75 delivered I think and fitted in a afternoon. Towed 2T the other day perfect.
  5. I don't think anyone is running down there customer service. I've used them in the past and couldn't be more helpful. The dealers that have posted here are just stating the new Jensen arrangement which appears to be bringing some conflict.
  6. Yeah same as that. Here's the head after I started to clean it out. The whole head was solid. One blown HG
  7. Nah fine, just know it's limits and be the manual stress control.
  8. We've got one of those in at the minute. Air cooled diesel that blew the head gasket. Cooling fins never cleaned and completely chocked up solid. Valve guide is a lemon shape too!
  9. GM CS100 comes with a pair of shims and a correct thickness feeler gauge from factory.
  10. Well other than paperwork there isn't much way of proving it. If it's been serviced by a dealer the customer should have service invoices with recorded hours through its life. If the owner doesn't have them the dealer should be able to print them. It's so damn easy to change an hour clock, it could of failed 5 years ago, a new one fitted and racked up 500 hours since (not uncommon) we have had to change failed hour clocks before now on machinery but write + xxx hours in marker next to it so they can be calculated. Not saying it's not legit however, just be careful.
  11. Make sure those hours are genuine if you can. 50 hours per year is low! That's less than an hour a week on average.
  12. Horrible. Was working in bath today.
  13. Hello. We have an Massey ferguson 1528 compact available. 28 HP, hydrostatic, 800 hours and 2002/3. Rops frame and in lovely condition. It's an Iseki TH4330 tractor underneath the colour.., the ROPS frame has Iseki written on it.

  15. This. Most chippers will be slightly closer at one end. I had a Jensen A340 apart with the feed rollers out etc today and it was defiantly closer bearing end.
  16. Pop the seals out and grease the bearing up. If you've soaked in petrol the bearing won't have much quality grease left to lubricate.
  17. Nice videos John, enjoyed them How's things by the way? Still running the QuadChip? I left TH White last autumn to setup my own business and dealership - GA Groundcare. All the best Ash Stevens
  18. You can't knock that. It'll be interesting if things change down the line in a few years when Redwood have built a reputable brand and want to be having some return on the investment put into Forst.
  19. All warranties will have a maximum hours. Normally the warranty is only split if a product is sold to domestic and commercial. Ie Honda box mowers are three months for commercial/professional.
  20. Is the third year a full parts and labour warranty with full UK cover FOC?
  21. : Do you know the T&C's of the warranty? A warranty is to cover manufacturing defects. Not many in year three in any industry. Kubota engines don't have three years... Do they cover Kubota warranty themselves in year three?
  22. The loan of another machine is completely upto the dealer as a warranty will only cover the physical machine itself.
  23. You don't think that Redwood are extremely worried about their business without the income of the Jensen product? Personally I don't think the Forst is putting money in the bank right now for them. Building a brand, running around doing updates/warranty, going the extra mile to support the brand, future R&D etc doesn't come cheap. Redwood moved 5 miles north to a larger premises end of last year and now are stripped of the Jensen products. I know I would be a worried man if a Director of Redwood. The horses mouth is Jensen themselves and the dealer structure is clear on their website. While on the topic GA Groundcare ordered their Jensen A530 demo unit today
  24. I think most people understand that and how it used to be. What supporting data do you have that this is to continue. The Jensen website is pretty clear on the new setup. Dealernetwork
  25. Be interested to hear you elaborate on why. I used a TW190 tracked today with some large silver burch and have used the Arb190 albeit the trailed version. Found the stress kicks in earlier on the GM but the GM has a nice wide infeed which is better than the TW.
