  1. No idea re spares! Try no air filter first. It then will probably be cheaper to buy a generic carb from eBay if it’s still not working.
  2. Might need a carb kit. One of the diaphragms acts as the pump to drag fuel into the engine. edit just read that it goes eventually properly! have you had the air filter out and tried without that on. As in take out and close back up and see what happens?
  3. Especially when a lot of those grandparents should be shielding! just to add my wife’s school is planning on half size classes for years 10 and 12 only. And that might be on a week on week off rotation.
  4. Don’t get too concerned re 2 pack paint except make sure to use face mask! i was told years ago “ a fag break” between coats
  5. Not yet got the confirmation but landed yet. I’ll post up how long it took once it arrives
  6. I’ve just took one out to do this I’ll wait a couple of months though as I’m not sure it’s supposed to be used this way and my loan comes from same bank.
  7. Won’t work then and they will likely loose any data they do manage to hold onto. i think it was them that couldn’t pay Lincolnshire’s staff and contractors a couple of years ago.
  8. Buy a new one? clutch is either stuck or knackered probably if engine isn’t dying.
  9. Buy a new chain there not much money for that size saw!
  10. I’m hoping that’s the Amazons and Google’s of this world are the first to be taxed properly when this is done with. They won’t close shop if they get taxed properly things may go up in price though. I’m not one who generally thinks people should pay big taxes but these big corps do piss me off at times!
  11. In that case the company shouldn’t be “highly reputable” should it. If self employed he will get his 80% come June.
  12. Could be he meant all of London and Birmingham being took out making him not racist just evil all round
  13. Have they not furloughed you?
  14. I think you would rather spend time trying to bring the government down than let them try and fix this mess. it wouldn’t have been any better with labour or anyone else in charge.
  15. Go to the Jacobsen website. It has an online parts manual going back many many years. You may well find a part number for a seal kit.
  16. My grandad was in the Air Force in ww2. Flew 72 sorties to Germany mostly. he would never talk about the war at all. He wanted to forget it he lost too many friends so we (me and my sister) never asked after being told that.
  17. Was that paid on production? as in minimum wage plus bonus?
  18. Bloody hell! Where are these charts on the bbc please? would be good to see outlook for my dad! thanks
  19. I’ve seen that one and the government response. It seems they were not credible in what they thought they could supply. oh and they were using experts from what I can see. They may we’ll have been wrong. not sure anyone would have been well placed to make this run smoothly
  20. What would the right way off doing things been?
  21. True. Having walked round a few of them when living there they are vile places and need to be stamped out if not everywhere certainly in these big towns and cities
  22. True but that argument falls flat in massive cities like Wuhan. It’s not the dark ages there. out in the vast Chinese countryside it is a valid argument since they still live in mud huts!
  23. I think that’s the point it’s the Chinese government not it’s people that’s the problem. they live like they do because they are governed with an iron fist. And a huge majority are very very poor. The wealth gap there makes the west share the money out equally
  24. The way I understand it is it’s 80% of profits for past 3 years divided by 36 to give you a monthly figure of “x” and we will be getting 3 x “x” in. June oh and it’s taxable as well for the June tax year and don’t have to stop work if it comes in maybe......
  25. Yes mobile data is working better than WiFi for some odd reason for me too
