  1. Thanks both of you. The tree dropped a massive branch last year and is generally looking on it way out. It has a lean that's got worse since the branch dropped as well. Thanks again Richard
  2. Hi can anyone is this please? And is it bad for this declining willow? Thanks in advance Richard
  3. You want to check on gov website re. Interest as they have brought in some new rules I think
  4. I've just bought a stiga with a 53cc Kawasaki on it same vibe system (well looks the same in yellow!) only 2 years commercial on it but then it was less than half the price.
  5. Looks good what kind of money are they? Also what engine?
  6. Sorry could not resist!! I'm a gardener with a chainsaw who has been known to put a fence up and it's not that hard from what I remember😁😁😁😁
  7. When did it turn into rocket science to put a fence up?
  8. It does look like a useful but if kit if you have big stuff like lorries to deal with
  9. 😁😁 Is that an old chainsaw converted into a impact driver or was it bought like that?
  10. Maybe but my dad has to keep his cocker spaniel on a rope/lead at nearly all times as it likes chasing rabbits and that lead to this😁😁😁 http://m.nottinghampost.com/Dog-rescued-quarry-ledge-firefighters/story-26356643-detail/story.html
  11. True that my case has cracked and 2 of the for close latches are knackered after 8 months of not much use. The tools are plenty good enough for me fixing my work stuff.
  12. Depends how long the day is as well
  13. There is another thread from not long ago with a link I think
  14. I don't drag my price down to match others.(not arb but still) I think it makes you look like you either were trying to rip them off in the first place or you don't know what your time needs to be worth. Just my opinion
  15. Have you adjusted the handles backwards? That will lower the head from a standing position. I do this when strimming banking
  16. I'd go to your local dealer and try some out to see if they are long enough. Is you 55 loop or cow horn handled? You shouldn't have to stoop with cow horn handles
  17. If you look on the crank case on the Honda there will be a set of numbers/letters stamped into the mould. If you get these you can google it and the spec will say what size shaft it is
  18. This👍
  19. I've got a 37cc machine that runs Stihl square line (red) which is 2.7mm nicely. That's about £25 a roll (350m or so iirc) that should suit your machine
  20. I've recently bought one of these for £440 It's very good so far http://www.stigalawnmowers.co.uk/products/garden-care/trimmers/sbc-653kd-trimmer
  21. Hi there would it be possible to send it to me as well please? I have one too it's running ok but manuals are always helpful.
  22. Could you JB weld a thick ish wide washer to the back of it and bolt through that? Try l and s engineers for a fuel cap
  23. Business waste uk It's £14 per pickup plus vat
  24. From Kevin's link The presence of a CE mark should not be regarded as a reliable indication that such attachments are safe to use.
  25. Is that far enough with one of those? I seem to remember not long ago(it might even be Kevin's link as I've not looked at it) some guy was a long way from someone using a chain link strimmer head when a link came off and hit his neck (I think) and now he's dead. Not worth the risk IMO
