  1. Hope all goes well, mate. [emoji106]
  2. I think I’d be a Remainer on this issue, given Igor’s pugnacious disposition.
  3. Reading these last few posts has been a very welcome respite from the relentless trauma of the Brexit thread. Well done Igor. [emoji106]
  4. I had this one but only got 18 months out of it.
  5. Happy Birthday mate. Sounds like your living the dream! Have a good one. [emoji106][emoji106]
  6. PS. Hope you get it back Mark
  7. Slight derail, but we had two guys turn up at our job yesterday wearing helmets and our logos asking the elderly customer for the money. Even offered to drive them to the bank.
  8. Sweden, not surprised .... the same country that is about to deport thousands of Iranian Christians back to the Ayatollahs tender mercies, yet welcomes jihadi extremists with open arms.
  9. Firstly, she received what she asked for, so she got a lot more than a little charity. Secondly, yes, The accounts of Jesus’ interactions show that he was caustic at times, but, if you study these accounts in a little depth, you’ll see that the only people he got angry with were the ‘religious’ establishment people of the day. So if Jesus really was God come as a man, then it stands to reason that God doesn’t care much for religion either.
  10. I resisted the urge to look for ‘blokes mincing’ memes
  11. No, but mine’s weighing you up...

    The BIG C .

So sorry to hear this Stubby. Let’s hope and pray for the 40%.
  13. Why does he even bother.... John Lennox wiped the floor with him , so to speak.. And he did it very politely and graciously. (Says he trying to to stay ‘on topic’)
  14. No, and this is where your ignorance gets exposed (again)....he says it isn’t lawful to take from the children and throw it to the dogs’, a reference to Jews and Gentiles. Then the woman says ‘but even the dogs get the crumbs from the table’ and so he heals the woman’s little girl. Sounds incredible...... But then so is the improbability of proteins forming and bonding together in sequence all on their own....
  15. Those two are the Atheist ‘Archbishops’ very prolific and very evangelical, pretty caustic as well, or lacking in grace, you could say.
  16. Actually, I think they are quite common.
  17. Neither do atheists.......... do they?
  18. It was actually.
  19. We lived in S Wales and my stepdad was a miner. Her policies wreaked absolute havoc on the Valleys. I remember at the very same time methadone was being very deliberately pushed onto young unemployed people in large quantities, long before there was a significant presence of heroin in those parts. (Conspiracy theories abound) I don’t think the energy companies should have been privatised. There is a lot more to powering the nation than just providing value for shareholders. Perhaps she would have done a better job of tackling Brussels for a deal. Maybe. Very divisive figure.
  20. “What level Thetan would you consider yourself VI ??” http://listverse.com/2007/07/28/top-8-levels-of-scientology/
  21. I’ve never seen an old fat guy climbing ‘cos I’ve never seen a mirror in a tree. But, seriously, it sounds like you would enjoy tree work. The 2nd / rescue climber with a saw and the ability to shift large quantities of arisings with a decent sized rig option sounds like a great idea. The majority of teams out there usually only have transit sized trucks and they really limit production. Hope it works out for you. [emoji106]
  22. I noticed your use of the word ‘creatures’ and it brought mirth to my soul. I have stopped using plastic drinking straws and no longer buy greetings cards with glitter on. That should help...
  23. Same as in Spain, a train journey that takes 2 1/2 hours in the the UK takes only 40 mins on the AVE. reasonable fares too.
  24. The actual train ride itself won’t mean much in real terms to most people, but the jobs created and boost to the economy in that sense could be beneficial.... HS2 is an industry in its own right.
