  1. How do you do the face from climbing in the hedge?
  2. I did some as a wedding present recently, a lady rang me and said her mate was getting married and could she get her a dumpy bag of logs a a present. Good idea I thought.
  3. I have an x27 and a grandfors maul, both are superb at splitting logs but they are very different looking
  4. I took the one off my 550xpg, 5 seconds. Not a noticeable difference but sounds more throaty:)
  5. I use a platform ladder, normal ladder with a board across the top to stop it sinking into the hedge. I have long reach stihl hedge cutters with an extension pole if needed. All hedges are different so you need to be versatile.
  6. I did that last night mat, it was weird because my pants went wet at the front????very strange...
  7. Ha,Ha go and do your home work!
  8. It was all in the spirit of the forum, sure a few guys were picking on me but what's new, I went and became a black belt in krav magar to sort that out
  9. Look lads you are all wrong and I'm right! Face it your all out of order for having an opinion and I'm right end of. Lol, ha,Ha.

  11. If it is the oil and you can say that without doubt then I'm sure Clarks will swap it or refund you. Have you asked them?
  12. I think it goes on your turnover and what type of work and of what percentage of your work is what that determines the cost. Each year I have to fill out a form saying how much each type of work makes up my turnover.
  13. I have been using Clarks bio oil for years and never had a problem, I just got a new drum the other day and it's fine. Clarks are a good firm and if you speak to Yvonne I'm sure she would sort it out for you. Let them have a chance at least:)
  14. I'm paying under a grand with trust for PL and EL. They are a good company to deal with and I've been with them for 9 years and the paid out no bother when needed.
  15. 😆😆 and you say I need a beer........
  16. I can believe what I like, don't need to be given permission do I. Next you will be telling me I caused global warming because I didn't report a farmer burning tires. LOL
  17. So let's look at like this, I see someone taking down a tree with a tpo on, I check with council and they ain't got permission, so I tell them what I've se n and they decide to investigate, I end up being a witness in a court case. The guy who did the work is getting done for it and gets some dodgy type to give me a smack, or come to my hous is here the wife and boy are and starts making trouble. I really can't be bothered with all that so I don't stick my nose in. Think what you want but I ain't having anyone come after me for that.
  18. Oh I've heard it all now, cutting a tpo tree with no permission is like raping someone?? Ha,Ha. Come on grow up man. Spineless? Ha,Ha. Your answers in this post are comical.
  19. It's not a case of that, I care about trees and don't think people should get away with doing that but sticking your nose in and grassing is petty imo. If he wants to grass on folk then crack in but it's not something I would do. I worry about what I do not have hat others do!
  20. Why would you want to grass someone up? Your better keeping out of it, why get involved?
  21. Good job Jonny
  22. Something for the weekend sir??
  23. Just down the one side, I don't notice it affect the loading, well if it does it's worth it for the bench and having the tools not in the cab.
  24. But then you would haggle over what they offer for yours mate.
  25. Not a bad idea mate, I would buy something with 12 months on it over 4 months mate. You've got to make it as attractive as possible. I would do that and ask £2500.
