  1. Same here, end of May, can't wait:)
  2. Just offer a token jesture for the wood, £100 the lot say take it or leave it. I did that years ago with a farmer and he was happy and so was I he even moved it back to my yard with his tractor.
  3. I have a Fitbit Charge HR with step counter and heart rate monitor on it, it links to an app on your phone if you want. It measure your heart rate all the time.
  4. No test holes or anything like that, theres is only 2 sided with glass and one solid wall, it is a wooden frame and had a poly to roof.
  5. It depends on the solid roof system you are going to fit, my parents is made from an alluminium frame with insulated boards and a resin tile type thing, it's from a company that specialist in these roofs.
  6. My parents cost about 7 grand. It's a really good job.
  7. If your insurance company don't know then that should tell you a lot about your insurance. Try one of the insurance company's recommended in ArbTalk. I would recommend Trust. 01604 492644
  8. My parents have and are super happy with the results, warmer in winter and cooler in summer, much quieter in the rain and wind.
  9. Look in your books at what it's worth to the company, it will have been written down over a few years and then you will have had tax relief against it, see what it's now worth an go from there.
  10. They came out very easily, I actually put a new pulls on a couple of years back and remember them being an interference fit rather than a pressed fit. They should come out ok mate, get some lube on.
  11. I just did mine, well easy mate. I have a spare bolt here, shame you don't I've nearer mate you could of had it.

    working in the rain

Just get on with it, I wonder sometimes if people in this game are getting soft.
  13. I agree at say 10am brew time but I've hear of lads having brew in arrival which lasts half an hour, then a bit of work and then brew time. I like to get on site and crack on then brew at 10, where I have brought coffee with me.
  14. I'd rather just get the job boshed and go home than sit about drinking brews.

    Countryfile.

Climb all over the Lar blonde piece, LOL:)
  16. It's gonna be a process of elimination, change all fuel filters and bleed her up and test. I does sound like it is that and I have had the same problem with my 150 VTR in the past.
  17. Is it a four mix? If so I think you have to have the valve clearance set up every so often. Mine turned into a pig to start and that was why.
  18. Yes, to a point. It's not like a greenmech which you can level up the chipper on slopes but I have had mine along steep slopes and gardens with the tracks right out where if the had of been in at 700mm it could roll. I often level up the chipper with bits of timber of stones. I can take my hopper off and get it through narrow gates or passages, I find it a very versatile machine and it chips superbly for a 6" machine.
  19. And I tow with a 130 Land Rover.
  20. I would never have a tracked chipper if it was not Vari tracked. My 150 VTR has been through gaps in to jobs that a tow behind or non Vari track would fit. I have just ordered a TW 230 VTR and am looking forward to owning one of the most versatile choppers on the market. 2 speed tracking, 800mm wide, 230mm infeed opening etc, Etc. if you have a Vari track you will use it.
  21. Mines a 150 VTR mate, getting a 230 VTR now.
  22. Wil sons are usually the top end of the price range, but with that it will be right, all checked out and that comes at a cost.
  23. Hi, I need a climber who is competent in pruning and take downs and has a good attitude. Please PM with availability and rates. thanks!
  24. Get on with how you think it should be done and just have a quiet word with the lad. Like you say you could loose the work if not and that's not doing you or him any good. That's the trouble with college, it does not teach them about reality and life in the big bad world.
