  1. That's me. They did a bit further up but the they have given the lane away now to the college now. They got a lot of complaints about that so the local councilor sorted it. I have been assured by the local TO that they ain't got money to spare. Did u live round here?
  2. It was like that when I worked for the council, the stealing was phenomenal, I would hate to think of an employee of mine taking the pee with me. I know not all employees are like that but it does make you wary.
  3. Sorry to sound negative but If your council is like min they won't have any money to pay for work like that, they would only use their contractors......however you don't get anywhere in life by not trying so ring your council and find out who deals with this sort of thing and approach them. You would need insurance, risk assessment and method statements, first aid etc.
  4. If carlsberg made employees....
  5. I'd love to find an employee who doesn't think it's their right to smoke/txt drink red bull etc on my time, or think it's the bosses right to get the drinks and bacon sarnies in all the time. For me I will never employ again. self Employed workers know what it's about and get on with it, they look after kit because it's their own. Iv had one lad say he doesn't see why he has to look after the kit because it's not his own. This is not true of all employees I know so I am sorry to tag you all with the same mark but it's from my experience. The better you treat people the more they shin on you:)
  6. Excellent Dean. Thank you!
  7. Cut the stump down more before grinding, saves time.
  8. Hedges online are very good, I have had laurel and beech from them and they have been good specimens.
  9. Plus the the dreaded.....
  10. Tighten them up mate, maybe loosen them and re position them and then tighten.
  11. It is nice, I'm a fan of this but u can't buy it in the uk only France.

He gave you his opinion. I wouldn't approach your boss based on what others say either, go by what YOU feel is right, do it in the right manner and it will make all the difference. Believe me. Good luck.
  13. I agree mate, mine is so much better for it. And I've got a nice door stop made from a block of alluminium Billet. Is there a retro fit twin wheel kit available?
  14. Get in contact with Yvonne @Clarks, she is very helpful and really cares about their products.
  15. There is a guy who supply's the multi tip cutting system, Mark Lowdnes, M&H Arb services, I think he is called, I bought one off him a couple of years back. Good bloke to deal with. He sells multi tip.
  16. Cheers Pete:)
  17. Looks good Pete, I need a chip flap like that on mine. Please can you put a couple of more detailed pics of it on:)
  18. Looks like a big firm Paul, new vans, mogs and tractors. Wouldn't want his fuel and insurance bill:) glad your doing ok though mate.
  19. The advantage of the plant trailer is you can then use the chipper like a tow behind, let the ramp down and chip away, on the tipping trailer the bed is too high.
  20. I use a GX 84 plant trailer for my 150 VTR, but if I have to take the grinder I use my TT 105 10x5 tipper which I can get both on. If u can have both as a tipping trailer is very handy.
  21. It was on it when I got it, Nene Overland built it. Ha,Ha, something like that.
  22. Let me know what it's like on the HB 20 please as I had one on my RG 13 and it was excellent.
  23. i knew you would have an answer as always.
