Surely it would be better if the arb world had a recognised governing body that all arb firms and workers were a part of, like the FMB or corgi/gas safe. Part of it would be to have the correct insurance, there are to many people that don't know what the correct insurance cover is. It seems we all have different views on the insurance subject. I have heard of company's that use subcontractors to insist the subcontractor has their own insurance even though they are being employed on a daily basis to carry out work for the said company, this way the company can avoid having employers liabillity. some say this is correct some say not?? What happens in the event of an incident.?? -
Guitar for me, was in a band, had a record deal, released an album, then it went tits up as it does. Lots of false promises and alot of people talking rubbish and sniffing to much gear. I now rarely pick up my guitar.

I have seen somewhere that someone has registered a landy as a agricultural and doesn't have tax or mot and can run on red diesel?? How do you do this and what are the pros and cons?? Cheers:)

When are people gonna wake up!! Striking will not change a thing, fuel will never be a pound a litre, which ever party are in power they will not change a thing. We should stand up to the bolshis and immigrant trouble makers and say enough is enough now get out.

If I was you try to speak to an accountant and they will explain it to you, I will try the basics. Say you earn 25k in a year, then take all your expenses for vehicle running costs like fuel, servicing,tax, then ppe and saws etc, insurance, mobile phone and anything you buy for you work then sau this came to 10k for the year this would leave 15k, then your personal taxable amount is around 8k?? Or whatever it is then that leaves 7k on which you will pay tax. hope that helps
