  1. Doing extra work to pay for champions league final tickets??
  2. I had a climber do that to me on a job, he came down out of the tree and said he was off home, told me to keep the days money and he was sorry to let me down and went. He sold all his kit the following week and that was that. Shame as he was a nice fella but he just couldn't do it anymore.
  3. He was probably fencing!! joke!!
  4. Any wood is good if it's seasoned and dry:)
  5. Yes it is from the jewson catalogue, I was shocked when I saw it as I did a job at a jewson depot and the amount of H&S stuff I had to go through just to fell a wee tree was unreal, it took longer to fill the forms in than fell the tree!!
  6. Nearly as funny as this one from the jewson catalogue.
  7. Ha,Ha, good one Mozza, he will love that!!
  8. Mine was stainless with black bezel and black strap but I got a tag stainless strap put on. They look a bit dated now but back in the day they were the bees knees!!
  9. I've been on aspen for 18 months now no complaints, they also do unleaded for mowers etc, that would solve the ethanol problem.
  10. I would have charged £150 too mate, I never charge by the hour only by the job or day.
  11. Unfortunately that will never happen there will always be someone who will do it cheaper. I try to price jobs to cover my costs and make a bit of profit, even if I take the wood I price it do what I knock off has been put on in the first place.
  12. When pricing a job you should know how long it will take if it looks like a day and a half put 2 on it. If your good at your job then you will know how long it takes.
  13. I have a g shock for work and then I have an omega sea master and a Bell & Ross for best. I have 2 vintage omegas that we're my granddads and a tag f1 that I got when I was 18. I love watches!!
  14. How many other people were quoting to do the job? Where I live there are usually a few of us quoting for the same jobs, if I went in 2 or 3 times more than what it's cost then I would have no work.
  15. 350 at least.
  16. I Just read your later post Dean do no need to answer my daft question:)
  17. Could you not just sweep the chimney Dean? That would get rid of all the crap would it not?
  18. Why stick with finger teeth? There not the best.
  19. Second that!!
  20. You should have a decent case for it mate, I have a lifeproof case and it's water proof and dust proof and you can drop it no worries.
  21. I'd be wanting 70 quid really, it will be nice stuff by October.
  22. I emailed them months ago for a price and info and I'm still waiting for a reply!! What's that about?
  23. Let me know mate, I would prefer a 4wd next tbh, then I can use it for towing a trailer too.
  24. I have been told by a mf mechanic that it may fit but wouldn't know until it's stripped, I would not repair and sell on as that's dishonest and I wouldn't like that done to me.
  25. Ahh, downer, I was hoping it could be welded.
