  1. Is that plus delivery also?
  2. But the Vermeer won't go in a some of the places a tracked 150 VTR will go, I do quite a bit in woodlands on steep slopes and the 150 VTR goes in a treat.
  3. I have a tracked 150 VTR and its great, I know people slag them off but from my experience it has been a worthwhile purchase. It will narrow down with the hopper off to 1300mm so will fit in a lot of tight places. If you look after them they are a good machine and will serve you well.
  4. If I ever did processing for anyone else then I would operate the machine, to many people really have no respect for anything that is not there's.
  5. Hurrah, someone who thinks like me on "mates rates" why work for someone on the cheap? There are mates and there are "mates" £600 for a customer and £300 -£400 for propper mate using my chipper and him dragging.

Ahh, fair play mate. You had me worried;)
  7. I do find my crew cab land better than my other Landys for space, I like to drive with the window down so I can get my elbow out, I also have a small steering wheel fitted. I could go and price jobs on my skateboard to save money but it wouldn't give the right image Swinny lad, Ha,Ha:)
  8. Me too Chris, LOL:)

Ahh, phew, I just re read the thread and you right, lol. Thank god for that:)
  10. I think a hard thing on forums can be its not like talking face to face with people so a discussion can seem like an argument when it really isn't meant that way. Some people come on here and don't know people and there posts like the older members do, this can then make people think oh he's a bit nasty or clever or whatever when really it not the case.

Are you saying you will do a days work with a chipper for £150 plus another man?? Surely not??
  12. I've spoke to a few lads I know who have been on here in the past and they say they can't be bothered with the "mine is bigger thank yours attitude" and some of the bottom licking that goes on. I enjoy the crack on here and TBH I don't post comment on a lot of things as I can't be bothered with the bitching that can some times erupt.
  13. Just reading this thread and some of the posts seem to be exactly what the thread is about?? Or have I missed something?
  14. I have just upgraded to a Bandit HB 20, it is a fantastic machine and will grind any size stump quickly and efficiently for the size of the machine. Sent from outer space
  15. [quote=swinny; Cant remember thd last time i came on here and was genuinley interested in a thread. I can Chris, this one LOL, that's what forums are is it not, lot of different people talking about stuff goo, bad or boring. You get plonkers in all walks of life not just on here, if you don't like it move on and don't let it get you down. Remember that someone you think is a dick is someone's mate and they might think your a dick so its swings and roundabouts really.
  16. It's my busiest time of year:)
  17. Both have been done.
  18. Yes, I had them on my old grinder and used to give them a tickle up, now back on green teeth so can tap and turn 3 times before sharpening.
  19. I would be up for a meet if everyone else is, if someone could organise it in the locations that is chosen then we can sort out a propper crack
  20. No idea Jon, but I reckon it would be a good laugh. Get Mr Bullman to say where and we can organise it, say 24th-26th Jam 2014 ??
  21. That's not a bad price mate, very interesting????
  22. Its gonna be Birmingham I think Jon as that's the middle of the country:)
  23. Why not organise a weekend in the middle of the country for arbtalkers to get together for a drink and a crack?? Me dip Jon can bring the cider and mr Bowlam could be the entertainer it would be propper fun and raise money for charity. If we plan early more people could go?? Get a band on and stuff would be a laff. Anyone up for it??
  24. I have been with trust for 10 years.. Enough said:)
  25. Come on don't be shy?? Over 10k?
