  1. Would this be decent for removing old fence staples? PRIORY UK MADE Nail Puller For Wood Floor Boards & General Carpentry PRI150 WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for PRIORY UK MADE Nail Puller For Wood Floor Boards &... Jaws look abit fat? Stanrite do fancy tools but expensive. using normal fence pliers & hammer is abit of a chore/slow for a long run of fence...
  2. Don't see the point of it, can use left hand and want to keep moving the chain around the bar as sharpening anyways.....
  3. Seems not needed imo, just hold with left hand....
  4. Think im being very dense but what does that thing in the above link do better than clamping the bar straight into a regular bench vice?
  5. Found this ,and it seem more realistic in that tallies with the percentages on fuel consumption increases you calculate: https://www.concawe.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/rpt_13-13-2014-00668-01-e.pdf I saw another reference/link that seemed to suggest a fairly large % variation in e10 Fuel mpg betewen different engine/car models for real world driving - can't find it now. Some cars were near the same mpg others less, ws dependent on how the engines ECM systems responded to E10 etc i think they concluded....
  6. For stuff that is a loads of cuts 2inch diameter or less etc... it works ok. With 4 5ah batteries it lasts awhile.
  7. Bacterial or fungal canker?
  8. Why are you best doing it that way? I felled a decent size tree once yrs ago with an axe and a 2 man saw and it was very hard work. There is a real skill to using an axe well you want a nice sharp felling axe like this one: Basically having high quality & sharp tools make all the difference and not many of them around theese days. Alot easier to use a cheapo chainsaw, than getting then maintaining quality handtools. How many people know how to set & sharpen saw teeth?
  9. I wouldn't think a golf corse would have much blackthorn or brambles or old nails etc. Usually punctures can be avoided by not running over the above.
  10. Its well documented to decrease fuel efficency but the % varies depending on engine and the e10 fuel spec, and maybe closer to 10% than 50%? New E10 fuel could reduce a car's economy by 10 per cent WWW.AUTOCAR.CO.UK A real-world study by What Car? suggests the government's plans to introduce new fuel could hit motorists in the pocket
  11. timber scribe? George Barnsley, Sheffield, Rubber Tapping Tool, Timber Scribe,Old Stock, Unused WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Could also be used as a timber scribe.
  12. Proabaly because its canopy was thinner plus also some randomness in nature...
  13. There is a cheaper husky one that isn't as good 125B has no antivibe
  14. The husky Husqvarna 525BX is better than the bg86 imo having used both... I looked into battery and the run times quoted were very low and the blowing power also loads lower.
  15. Very lucky & a shame its often seems to come down to being lucky/pushy in getting good treatment.....
  16. Id go battery for a new hedge trimmer prefer them over petrol.
  17. My karcher pressure washer is high vibes, I don't use it that long/ often though. The high pressure water going though the pipe causes it... I have a mower that is worse than most modern chainsaws. Vibes coming from an engine, would a 4 stroke like a mower, not be smoother than a 2 stroke machine? All cheapo tools seem alot worse than pro/expensive ones generally. Ok as long as not used for too long. I think the vibes on a chainsaw comes primary from the chain cutting but I might be wrong. Ive noticed more if you lower the rakers too much or the chain is not as sharp etc.... Recip saws have loads of vibes also some electric sheep shears do.
  18. Rema tip top brand are the best ones. German quality REMA TIP GLUE PUNCTURE REPAIR KIT + MUSHROOM PLUGS PATCHES 4 VALVES CAR VAN QUAD WWW.EBAY.CO.UK 1X REMA TIP TOP 30G GLUE. 4 X REMA TIP TOP PATCHES 28MM. 5 X REMA TIP TOP PLUGS. 4 X MUSHROOM PLUGS...

Don't think its a lime alder or hazel im not sure what it is though. The green twig colour of this yrs new growth is abit distinctive.... Almost apple like....
  20. Well ive noticed the makita has slightly more vibes than most modern petrol saws with springs. The virb spec listed on the titan is 6.3m/s More than most new 60cc saws
  21. Stere

    ID please

    Mulberry?
  22. One thing thats missing from corded saws is anti vibe springs. The makita corded I have isn't bad for vibes but doesn't any springs i don't think, so isn't as good as most new pro lvl petrol saws vibes wise. But I expect some cheapo corded ones might have alot worse vibes...... Vibration Level in m/s2 might be listed in the spec details
  23. Looking at the chip pile he must of being at it awhile....
  24. Whats with that man hole cover between the stumps?
  25. Interesting about the sharpening never though thoose things would actually work well..... What is the conversion kit?
