  1. With the Renault Masters rear axle so far back does it help the payload on the axles?
  2. If it's a crew cab, not much
  3. But I do like those Pro51's
  4. Guys please read all of the thread before you post... I've already bought a mower.
  5. My van is also playing up, but it's an older version of the combo.
  6. Apparently there is a problem with the diesel filters when they get to a few k miles with a few models. It's the same base as a Sprinter so I'd get one of those instead.

    Dream CAR

    Subaru Forester.
  8. Sperian velvet shock globes bit pricey but they lasted me a good 9 months until i wore them when doing hedge trimming and was clearing clipping a bit from tarmac which had them worn out before the day was up.
  9. How do you guys measure the hole depth? I've got a BT spade with a 2 foot 6 inch mark on it and it has made digging holes so much easier, I used to just guess and it was always a right pain having to dig.
  10. Felco no.22. Bit pricey at £150 odd but they're much better than the stihl ones i had (whatever the most basic stihl bypass is called)
  11. The new Stihl black caps are similar to the Husky caps.
  12. Bit of an old post, but John's still around so never mind. EVer been to DJ Phillips? It's out near High Littleton/Hallatrow does good by me usually fixes stuff pretty quick. They aren't an arb dealer, they aren't actually listed as a Stihl Official Dealer but he can get stuff from stihl, not so sure about why but whatever it's well below RRP not as cheap as Jonsie but decent enough and quick turn around with fixes.
  13. I think they've got rid of these caps. My KM 90 and BR430 have black caps with two edges on them for twisting. It's easier than the older caps to do unless your hands are cold. Not sure if it's only because these two models have been 'updated' recently (although the only other change on my kombi system is the choke level is differently shaped so stihl can use 1g less of plastic) or if they've switched over all stuff to the new caps. But put the old ones on write and there's never an issue!
  14. Bit late mate. My old mower was a Rover Supercut which was good but as I said in the first post just too small (tho the briggs engine never seemed to use any oil up which was nice) and the tiny box meant I spent half the time walking around with the box in my hand.

    Which oil

I use Ultra as the fools in the shop priced it wrong and didn't notice so I've got I think 20 litres of it. Also means none of my 4mix engines break.
  16. Same height restrictions as artic? All I can find online is about caravans where it references 5th wheel to be treated like artic but it was in reference to braking.
  17. Step down or up. You can't keep both posts level otherwise you'll never step down, but you match the post to the next panel rather than both posts to the same panel.
  18. Don't they run on drum brakes? Might be why it's a handful sticking your leg out the door and skidding along might slow you down faster
  19. I hope we get on well. Managed to get it down to £750 as it was the last one the dealer had left. Although I was hoping it would be for more but the original price was a grand so I suppose I got a rip off merchant to come in below RRP.
  20. Thanks for the advice I've stretched to the Stiga PRO55 4S
  21. Nice etesia.
  22. Does AOL still have the awful email spam filtering that flags far too much stuff as spam? Because that's probably why if so.
  23. Nice tidy job. This is my biggest hedge, the top is bulging out because they used to have a guy do it with just a handheld black and decker and couldn't reach the top.
  24. Is that the honda engine?
  25. I've never seen one with a winch or a capstan on it which would be useful, but I doubt the market is there for them to bother.
