Yep I thought vinegar and water maybe, tried fairy up liquid but it dries all smeary. Yep probly worth buying proper stuff after all

Thanks for all your help so far, I'm going to try to mend it myself, I would like to send it to spud and have it ported at the same time but funds are tight at the mo. Right I have ordered two new exhaust bolts and I'm going to get a meteor 066 piston, my mate knows someone who will machine it for a drink. Question- do I get the saw pressure and vac tested before or after the repair? One more thing, it is missing the clutch cover and these aren't available anymore. Is there a husky part that will fit? Again thanks for the help so far Will

http://www.forestry.gov.uk/pdf/fcpg017.pdf/$FILE/fcpg017.pdf A quick search on Google brought up this. Specifically for rhody but could probably be adapted for trees. Sorry I did try and post a link but not sure how. If it doesn't work try 'stem injection rhododendron' in google. Hope this helps -
Would think it would handle 18inches ok. Try an ital lite bar from eBay, I have one on my 200t and it seems to be lasting ok, dirt cheap too

Just pay him a day rate, give him enough time to eat his lunch at least, and he will have to fit in with your way of working he will get used to it. Some days are easier than others right?

Hi mike, thanks for that. So that means mine is a 83cc 54mm piston then. What about this piston from America? Also it was missing an exhaust bolt, could this make it run lean and score the piston?

Hi all, My missus bought this saw from a sale page on Facebook today and proudly presented it to me when I got home from work. 'Look what I got you today!' She said. I had a quick look online to try and find some info about them but I ended up more confused! Seems there were two engine sizes and how do I tell which one I have? Piston looks scored aswell

We have the new husqvarna ones at work but the plastic seems weak on them it creases and dents just thru normal wear and tear. We have now gone back to buying petzl ones which I likes best. I would like to take the opportunity to say to my boss- I told you so!
