The cylinder cleaned up nice and didn't have any bits left over when I had finished so will try her out tomorow. I didn't did out the cause of the seize I'm hoping it was neat petrol. Ragwort

Hi I have been asked by a lady to get rid of the ragwort from a field she wants to put ponies in next week. I told her there would not be enough time to spray it plus animals eat it when it is dead right? I have told her I will have to pull it. I've pulled lots in the past but only when it's in flower is it fine to pull it now or will it be to soft. What do you think? Plus where can I dispose of it and for how much near Hungerford or Marlborough?
  10. Just scoop most of it out with the ash pan. Then dust pan and brush the rest of the hearth. Hum kids these days
  11. Sycamore
  12. Ur right there jon
  13. I bought a ranger with a canopy. Glass had been replaced with white hard plastic mounted on the glass hinges but you could use clear perspex
  14. Fendt tractors are faster than a mog. Simples!
  15. Thanks lads, I got the manual but couldn't find the info. Me rushing I think. I'll have another look so I can find it next time
  16. Hi does anyone know the correct torque setting for the knife bolts on a Vermeer 1200xl?
  17. Yep even tho it's completely her fault she will blame you! You could tell her too much big spray will kill her flowers
  18. Good day doing local council work two largish sugar maples dismantled and felled filled the lorry by 11oclock. Then dismantled three small limes next to a house and finished off felling and winching a horse chestnut up a foot path to the lorry on the road. Wouldn't have been so good if we hadn't of had the Vermeer with the winch!
  19. Looks like someone has dig the soil away in the past
  20. Give them a sensible price for the reduction and monolith and then a crazy high price for complete removal. They are unlikely to go for the fell then but if they do your quids in. No chance of getting a mini digger in with a corkscrew splitter on it and just split it standing? Now that I want to see!
  21. I'm gonna try this first, then if not I'll google a helicoil
  22. Could try this with what's left a the bottom of th 8mm hole I've drilled already, but don't have any taps
  23. Checked, there is no thread left at all. Plus now I've drilled it out
  24. Put this 026 I bought on eBay back together after stripping it down completely, all except splitting the crankcase. I'm pretty sure it had been used with veg oil as it was caked on real hard and took some cleaning. Anyway took it to work and it runs great, just one thing The thread had stripped in this hole so I drilled it out and tried to stick a nut in with araldite but is didn't work. Is there a good adhesive/ filler I can use to stick the nut in? Thanks will
  25. Yep favourites got to be doing call outs, you never know what it's going to be till you get there, just a small branch on the side of the road or a massive tree that takes all night
