  5. Hi all, I'm going self employed next month and the transit that I bought to put a tipper body on we have just discovered is rotten underneath. My mate got it up on his ramp to unbolt the box and he said don't bother, put it back on eBay. So I'm looking for a tipper or even a hi lux pick up type truck, anything I can chip in the back of. Anyone know of any? I'm in Hungerford in west Berkshire Thanks will

  12. Have they replaced the cylinder and piston but not found and repaired the cause? If so take it back get your money back and give it to someone who knows what they are doing

  14. Some one I know recently pulled a phone line down off a house and snapped it. His manager rang his mate at bt and got him to talk him through fixing it. Took 5 mins so can't be that difficult.

  16. My mum has had the same 53 plate jimmy for about 7 years now. It has never let her down or needed a big repair, it's a bit bouncy to drive but dad thinks it's a little bit thirsty compared to a small car

  19. I don't know. There was a similar question on tree bay on Facebook about an 08s and I got my info from there, I was just trying took look intelligent but you found me out! I would like to know as well. I bet eddy T would know. Maybe I'll start a new thread.
  20. The bar and chain is probably a .404 pitch with the same bar mount as a stihl 880. It has a chain brake so it's not that old
  21. That is a stihl 08s, it's the 2nd oldest saw still in production

The gist of it was network rail are putting in some big clearances beside the rail tracks to stop the trees affecting the lines and trains and people are getting upset and protesting against it. At this time of year they are using the excuse 'you can't cut any trees down there's nesting birds' channel 4 news very one sided I think
