  2. In the great scheme of things , you made a small mistake. My boss bought a wind turbine , paid in advance , turbine was never built ,and ended up paying for two to get one. Probably £600k. That wasn't the end of it. Whilst worrying about that he then filled the sprayer with Roundup instead of insecticide and spraying 60,000 maiden fruit and ornamental trees with it. The results on the trees , and him were devastating. We all make mistakes , some are hardly worth worrying about... sent from my phone but never in work time.

  4. Ooziwooziglobulosis is often present in cherry stems we buy in to top work. Usually they have had a hard time in transit , damaged bark and bruised stems. They don't all get over it but a good number do. They can live with it for many years. sent from my phone but never in work time.

  10. My brother knocks his trees over and let's the goats in so they de bark them and therefore dry faster gor burning. sent from my phone but never in work time.

  12. Many years ago , I was grafting in a field with my work mates. When we left off , we noticed a thorn tree growing in the dyke. So we trimmed it up , cut the head back and grafted it with " Crimson Cloud". And this is the result. Gutted that I missed it in full bloom , I trim the suckers off from time to time. sent from my phone but never in work time.

  19. Surely a filter is supposed to filter until it can't filter any more . Is this a bad design? The stihl handbook says that when the filter needs cleaning ,the saw will not run well and it's time to clean it . They don't seem to have trouble. sent from my phone but never in work time.
